I hate not giving 5 stars review but in this case I have to, I asked my server to voice my concern with the manager and I saw her talk to the manager but she didn’t seem to care, here’s how our experience went:

The freshness and taste of the food was good and that’s the only reason I’m not giving them a 1 star review.

The service wasn’t good and here’s why; they give you a two hours limit (which is common among all all-you-can-eat places) but then they make you wait for long periods of time between each round and they delivered small quantities on every round after the first one, the picture you see was for round 1 which was good, but the next rounds they were bringing one cluster of crab legs per person, and we had to wait a long time between each round with empty plates, it’s not like they bring one per person and they keep it coming so you don’t have to stop and wait, no, you eat your assigned cluster, order the next round and then sit tight and do nothing while they cook the next round, and they weren’t even busy, it was on a weekday with 3 tables occupied throughout the restaurant, we kept telling the waitress that we want more crab legs per serving or at least not to keep us waiting between orders and unfortunately we kept receiving the same service and nothing changed, it felt like they were doing it on purpose, honestly I felt that they were so cheap compared to Crazy Crab in Fairfax where we also had the same time limit (which we never needed to consume by the way) but we didn’t have to wait between rounds at Crazy Crab, the server would take our next round order while we are eating the first one so that he ensures that we have ours ready once we finish the first one.. Another disappointing thing was that they came to us around 8:15 (we started at 7:15) and asked what our last order was as “the kitchen was closing at 9” we told her we want more crabs and still she brought one last round (one per person) and she brought the check afterwards without us even asking for it and without asking us if we wanted to have desert, we were basically given a 1 hour 15 minutes ordering/eating window and we had to spend a good portion of that time waiting on food. They didn’t care about service quality because they knew that they were going to charge us gratuity no matter what because we were a table of six people. I don’t know if I’m going there again as it did cost us $70 a person and I feel that it wasn’t worth it due to the quantities provided and mainly due to the lack of attention to our requests, they just seemed to not care.. Hope this resonates with the restaurant management as they are still in the “soft opening” stage and I don’t think that they can afford to have a reputation of...

Ocean Crab: A Seafood Extravaganza

Nestled at the vibrant intersection of two major roads, Ocean Crab beckons with promises of a seafood feast like no other. With its enticing offer of all-you-can-eat seafood at a modest $55 per person, this dining establishment has quickly become a favorite among seafood aficionados in the city.

Upon entering Ocean Crab, patrons are greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. The decor is simple yet tasteful, allowing the star of the show—the seafood—to shine. The restaurant's diverse clientele adds to the vibrant atmosphere, creating an exciting backdrop for a memorable dining experience.

As an aspiring New York Times food critic, I had the privilege of indulging in the gastronomic wonders that Ocean Crab has to offer. The feast commenced with a delightful spread of blue crab, crab legs, and succulent shrimp, all steamed to perfection. The seafood was undeniably the highlight of the meal, generously sized and bursting with flavors that transported me to coastal towns and seaside escapes.

The blue crab, in particular, was a revelation. Expertly steamed, its tender flesh and delicate sweetness left a lasting impression. Paired with perfectly cooked crab legs and delectable shrimp, it was a harmonious symphony of tastes that captured the essence of oceanic indulgence.

To complement the seafood extravaganza, the mixed drinks and draft beer were an inviting treat. Served cold and bursting with flavors, they provided a refreshing contrast to the richness of the seafood fare. Each sip was a moment of culinary delight, and the attentive staff ensured that no glass remained empty.

While Ocean Crab's location at the bustling intersection might not be the most picturesque, it adds an unexpected charm to the dining experience. The juxtaposition of delectable seafood and the lively urban setting infuses the restaurant with a unique character, making it a true hidden gem.

In terms of value, Ocean Crab delivers beyond expectations. At $55 per person for an all-you-can-eat seafood feast, the cost is more than justified by the sheer abundance and quality of the seafood offered. Patrons can indulge to their heart's content, savoring the bountiful offerings without any hint of compromise on taste or quantity.

In conclusion, Ocean Crab is a seafood lover's paradise, redefining the concept of a culinary adventure. The exceptional taste and size of the blue crab, crab legs, and shrimp, coupled with cold and delicious libations, create an experience that lingers long after the last bite. The diverse clientele and unique ambiance add to the restaurant's allure, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable seafood...

Scam. They are saying it buffet but actually it’s not. They said it’s like a buffet but you have to request anything any time you are done with dish. I arrived 9:05 pm, the attendant said they are closed 10 pm hundreds time and I said Ok if you bring us the refill soon. He said every time you ask for refill or the order, will take 2 minutes, he proceeds saying they are closing 10pm and I said Ok. Then he said it’s 9:10 pm and they are closing 10 pm and I said ok. After we set, the waiter came to take the order, after I am done my order, he said I can’t get crab legs when they said it’s included on the phone. I asked the waiter if it’s included in buffet, he said yes, but I already order a shrimp so can’t get crab legs. WOW it’s a buffet but it’s ok, cancel the shrimp and bring me crab legs please. When he repeat the order, he was saying no crab legs, I asked if I can talk to other waiter. Other waiter came to take the order and it was 9:30 pm, order did not come yet. So the attendant said each order will take 2 min as I arrived 9:10 and it was 9:30 , I have not seen anything on the table, I called the waiter again he said bla bla bla is coming now but bla bla anothe minute, I was like and the crab legs? He said no legs. I decided to leave but my 8 years old urging me to stay cause she was waiting for legs. I decided to talk to manager and manager came in and said she will take care of us and sent us third waiter. As 3rd waiter came in he said we have to start over because old order was cancelled when we left, I said ok. The manager said it’s ok bring them same order it is ready. I asked the waiter what is included he said my list but not the crab legs. My daughter said is there legs, he said no, I told my daughter we gotta go but my daughter was so sad. The manager said she will take care of us I told her he said there is no legs. The waiter denied he saud this in front of the manager even though my daughter said heard him. I told them you gotta give my daughter buffet I do not want to eat, when waiter brought us the food it was already 9:40 pm, the waiter said they are closing 10pm. I told him I know the attendant already told this 10 times I do not wanna hear it 11th time. The waiter said I said 10 I did not say 11, I was like do people here speak English? I said it cause sounds like not but I could not hear any accent from any, but could not know what is wrong with them. As I left, after I paid, I saw the waiter went to a random customer making fun about me. Also when I left the building, I saw 2 employees came after me outside the building watching me. I would give negative 5...
