South Block — Restaurant in Chantilly

I wish I can give -5. You should NOT go this store if you want clean and nice acai bowl. I found a piece of PAPER in my acai bowl!!!! I will post a picture of it too! Also, I visited few days ago, they made two mini bowls when I ordered one regular and one mini. I told employee that it should be one regular and one mini, she said "No, you ordered two mini" I said, "do you want me to bring my phone to show you?" And then she went back to station and said "you're right. Why I see the order like that" and started make new one. She should check first when I said it's incorrect. WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE WERE YOU GUYS HIRED??? Chantilly store should be closed. I will keep email the good vibe to let them know this Chantilly store is worst place I've experienced. I buy acai bowl from Asburn most of time, and tried Chantilly just 3 times since I just moved nearby, but all my experiences in Chantilly are worst!!! 1st time, the employee makes two minis as I mentioned above, 2nd time, they took an hour to make two bowls and today which is 3rd time, I found piece of paper in my food!!!! We regularly crave South Block and it's no wonder as it truly never disappoints. We never eat enough veggies or fruit and we're so grateful to South Block for making fruits and veggies taste SO delicious. My fave are the Warrior Acai Bowl, Super Green Smoothie and the Dragon Fruit smoothie, being the latest. My boyfriend loves the Mango Smoothie the most. For Juices, we like the Cure and Glow the most. They truly are a game changer and I'm so excited to see them expand and grow. Everything we've tried has been amazing - from their acai bowls to smoothies and juices. Their staff is also outstanding and there has been more than one occasion where they have gone above and beyond to rectify issues with my account. The gentleman handling the cash register this morning on 9/14/2024 was incredibly kind. He has handled my transaction on some other occasions too and he is always just genuinely friendly. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name. But he definitely deserves recognition since the same can’t be said for some of the other employees at other locations. I come here pretty regularly way out from Gainesville for juice and smoothies. Here’s to hoping that the powers that be read this and consider opening up shop at the Virginia Gateway...
