The Field at Commonwealth — Restaurant in Chantilly

Great shopping center that is still relatively newly built. There is an office park across the street, so it is very convenient for those that work in the area. There is Wegmans for groceries, many restaurants including Mellow Mushroom, Cava, Chipotle, Habit Burger, and more. If you're looking for coffee there is a Peet's (I have a strong dislike for Peet's and unfortunately there is no Starbucks in the area). A UPS office is also conveniently located here. My only gripe is that the parking lot is absolutely terrible! There is not enough parking for the number of stores they have, and the parking lot is very narrow with lots of corners. Even at 10am during the week I had a hard time finding a stop at near UPS. Please be extremely careful in this parking lot and be sure to obey all the stop signs. I moved to Portland Oregon for a year. The thing I missed the most about Virginia was Wegmans. There are no grocery stores that I have seen anywhere else in the country that even come close. I especially appreciate that the store brand foods are cheaper and as high or better quality than the name brand foods(ex: Wegmans whole chickens are cheaper and better than Perdue) The cheese department and bakery are top notch. Even if you live closer to Fairfax or Gainesville, the people at the Chantilly location in Newbrook Drive are worth the extra travel time. If you don't mind being cut in front of, have people jet out in front of you, and risk having your car hit this is the place to go. I've never seen so many inadequate drivers in my life. A stop sign means stop it doesn't mean look both ways while you're moving and keep going. And then I get looked at like I'm doing wrong when I stop at the stop sign and proceed and then another car just comes out of nowhere cuts in front of me and I have to slam on my brakes.
