I’ve been here many times as a student at UNC, and nearly every visit has come with a problem. I’ve been served raw chicken, given the wrong food, had items left out of my order, and almost every time I try to rectify the situation, I’m met with a sigh and rolling eyes from the crew. I just want the food that I paid for.
Speaking of getting what you pay for, it’s important to note that this Bojangles is located on UNC’s campus, so think of it as a concession stand. Their prices aren’t that inflated, but by god if you want a 2 piece leg and thigh meal, you’re not getting that second side even though the combo costs just as much as a real Bojangles. Actually just looked it up, the leg and thigh mean is $2 more expensive here than any other Bojangles not on campus. And you get one less side! What a deal!
The staff are mostly rude as they can be, and they speak to people like they’re talking to a toddler. God forbid they have to repeat themselves, they carry so much anger. Not to mention, some of us don’t hear very well as is, so I’m very sorry you had to say something twice.
I’m confident that the only reason they remain open is because they’re on a college campus, and some kids get sick of eating at the dining hall. If this Bojangles was anywhere else, business would slow down to a crawl and be limited to out-of-towners.
Attached is a photo of my burnt Bo-berry biscuit that I’m confident was given to me because they forgot to give it to me the first time and were angry at me for coming back to ask for the food that I paid for. Seriously I think this one might’ve come out...
Read moreWe were on the campus visiting the school to see if my daughter wants to attend next year. We live in Orion and I'm from North Carolina so I've even Bojangles all my life and decided to get some Bojangles while we were there. First, this store does not have Cajun pintos so if you want Cajun pintos you should go to a different Bojangles. The best parts of the Bojangles chicken are the legs. So I ordered the three-piece dinner with specifically says on the menu cuz you get two thighs and a leg I think. And I got a breast one big thigh and one little thing that was so small. I couldn't barely tell it was a thigh. My lady ordered the same thing and her food took about a half an hour to come out and we actually had finished eating all of our food because they gave her the wrong pieces of chicken and I should have gone back and got mine corrected too but I was hungry so I ate what they gave me. My daughter's mom was also with us and she ordered the three wing dinner and ended up getting three completely different pieces of chicken. I think maybe that was one wing in there and she just said forget it and ate it too. And the breading on the chicken was too much breading and not enough chicken. Look at the picture that I posted of how much breading that was left. I know people like the crust but I like meat. So unless you're desperate for Bojangles, I would probably go eat at one...
Read moreI m writing this comment about my bad experience on this Bojangles store as I ordered 2 thighs and fries, what I got is 1 dirty rice and 1 thigh and a leg. So normally for Bojangles, we have substitution for thigh in either 2 legs / wings or a breast when we running out of thighs. But the front desk, which I am most unsatisfied about, rolled his eyes and tells me “we are running out of thighs”, without solution, without attitudes, which makes me super disappointed. I want to thanks to the team lead for tonight be able to calm down and talk and provide a solution. But I still want to mention about the bad experience on this store.
I asked “can I ask for a ranch sauce please” The front desk did NOT even say a word, just point on the notice sign “sauce for extra” I never saw this in North Carolina, the last time I saw this was in Atlanta.
Additionally, this spot is slightly more expensive than other stores (makes sense as on campus)
Thank you UNC, for charge me extra price and extra cost for sauce and worst experience for the month.
This Bojangles should be kicked...
