Sarku Japan — Restaurant in Charleston

Food is great but their service and attitudes suck! I went through and ordered a meal and the portion was very small. This has been a downward trend for the last couple years of their servings getting smaller and smaller. I went ahead and finished the meal but still have plenty of vegetables left. I went back to the counter to ask if I could buy an extra portion of chicken because I was still hungry. After standing there and giving me a look for a moment, she finally told me no you cannot buy a side of chicken. I told her it says 4 oz of chicken 2.49 on your board. She tells me again, no you cannot buy any more chicken unless you buy it as extra meat when you're buying the original meal. I was left with the option to purchase a whole new meal again. I was unwilling to do that to add a little bit of extra chicken. This is not the first time they have been rude or unwilling to help. She also appeared to be looking at me and laughing as I walked away.

25+ years I’ve been eating here at Sarku Japan @ CTC. Started have the same issue of over charging. Ordered two chicken teriyaki and one vegetable fried rice charged an extra $.50x2 fried rice $1.99x3 Double chicken. I paid $29.79 & I know I over paid @ least $7.29 plus tax and I asked her when checking out what were charges so high…she said $8.29x2 and $4.29 fried rice.
