Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Charleston

Ive been to chipotle accross many states from Texas, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia and continue to go back to them for their consentancy. I typically eat at a chipotle for 2-3 meals per week for its convenience and how healthy a simple chicken bowl is for when im busy. I have comended local management for when the service is absoultly outstanding but in this case i can not say anything positive about my experiences at this location. The experiences at this location typically go as such.....i arrive at the restaurant and walk up to order my food and the first thing youll notice is food containers with only a tenth of a way full or nearly empty containing over cooked meats/veggies/rice. Then ill tell the worker i would like to have a bowl and some sort and they give the smallest portion (part of a spoon full ) of ingredients than any other chipotle that i have been to.....so now im standing there thinking i now have a poor excuse of a chicken bowl and im absolutely starving. I would ask for double meat but there isnt enough ever in the container with out imposing on the person behind me in line.

In conclusion, this location needs to rethink their managing of how it is operated as it has many improvements to live up to the Chipotle name have been...

We ordered and sat outside. Our dinner was thee worst we have ever experienced at chipotle and we dine often in different states, cities, etc. -Meat was very leathery and burnt. -Rice was severely small portioned -the fresh guacamole they got from the cooler was brown, had a ton of strings and way way way too many jalapeños. My kids couldnt even eat it. My son bit some kind of mystery black seed? Im not sure exactly what it was but it looked like a seed or some sort but im not sure what it would have even have been from. Anyways it hurt his mouth.. go figure. the fountain lemonade tasted like fish bowl. -way too many jalapeños in everything. Usually my kids favorite is chipotle but they left hungry and upset and so did I.

I emailed and received a prompt email back with a free meal for next time, but it didnt include our price of guacamole on top of each bowl or the $5 side of guacamole.. or the fish bowl tasting fountain drinks. Im thankful we got something back, but still dissatisfaction in the whole experience after driving a long drive and starving to eat some terrible food i dont have an appetite for any chipotle, anytime soon. I would have rather had a refund to...

So, as I was considering posting a review I happened to see the last review from someone two weeks ago saying the same thing that happened to us. I am always hesitant to post a mediocre or bad review but that made me think they just don’t care to fix things. Again two weeks later they cannot offer ice, the ice machine isn’t working, either get a bottled something from the cooler or from the soda machine in the dining area. My kids still wanted soda so they chose that anyway, even without ice. We get out there and my son didn’t notice the cap wasn’t on the root beer so it spewed all over his clothes!! He wiped himself off and tried several different sodas only to find they all needed changed and all my kids ended up drinking room temperature water. As far as the food? It was ok. Not great but not bad either, mediocre. We did eat it and get full I guess but it was just ok. The worker at the end of the line was rude to my kids. Just not the best experience. I...
