I have worked at Las Trancas for 9 years, and I think that the food quantity and quality are very good and affordable. The restaurant is clean and very well maintained. Every business out here has good days as well as bad. Everyone, every place and everything can improve in some way. I very much dislike that people generally go right to public shaming when things don't go right, and I too am guilty of it as well, but I have been trying to give things a second some times a third chance before I complain. I hope that everyone that has not had a good experience here at Las Trancas will reconsider and give us a second chance, and if we still fall short, let us know while you're there because we do want to make our guests happy. and if you just don't playing like the vibe of our place, I too feel that way about some places, but that doesn't justify a bad feedback. I would normally give this place 5 stars because I have eaten here many times, and I almost always have a great experience. However, that was not the case today. While our server was trying the best he could, he was given 4 LARGE tables in the back room to serve. He was trying to take care of 32 people at once. It took a long time to get our drinks as well as our chip and salsa refills. Our cheese dip was not very hot when it came to the table . Also, my husband’s fajitas weren’t even sizzling when they came out. We chose this place because of the quickness, yet today, it took 45 mins-1 hour to get our food. When asked during payment if everything was okay, I expressed our disappointment, only to be told, “Okay.” There was no real care that we weren’t satisfied with our meal today. I usually don’t like to complain because I am thankful for having a hot meal and being able to choose what to eat, but when I am paying for a service and for a meal, I do expect satisfaction and...
