Dunkin' — Restaurant in Charleston

I went through the drive through at this location yesterday which was October 16 2024. My kids were super excited to receive the new munchkin buckets. I asked to buy three buckets unfilled and and order of 50 munchkins so I could divide them between the buckets ( my children are 5 and under and cannot eat and entire bucket of munchkins a piece ) while placing my order I was greeted nicely but after the cashier had rung the items up correctly I politely brought attention to it. ( she was trying to charge me for three filled munchkin buckets which are 13$ a piece whereas the buckets alone are only 2$ a piece. She then said “oh my god” very rudely. I also want to add I was not asked what variety of munchkins which I wasn’t too upset about because I know that these buckets were just released today and the store has probably gotten a lot of orders for this heavily promoted item. My order for the three buckets and a 50 count of munchkins came out to 19 and some change. After I paid a different worker handed me my order at the window and said “ be careful they are very hot they just came out of the oven” I thanked her and told her to have a good day and pulled over into the parking lot to divide the munchkins between my three children’s buckets and found that all of the munchkins were cold ( refrigerated not just room temperature) and sopping wet and soggy. I've been to this location twice now, and both times I had stellar service! I even went back the second time to get their names for this review, because they were all so sweet. Cindy, Kadaysia, Leslie, Jasmin, and Kelly are all super amazing at their jobs, and all of them deserve a raise. The first time I went in there was also another woman there who was all smiles and was one of the nicest people I've ever come across. I didn't get her name, but she could train others in customer service easily. She has a disability, and she was inspiring to say the least!

The reason for the 1star was the manager outside complaining about these stellar workers rather loudly and rudely. That is NOT how you deal with your staff. I was disgusted. That guy isn't fit to be in charge of people, he should be asking me if I want fries with that. I hope corporate does something about the management at this location, because the workers deserve...

I absolutely love my local Dunkin!! It’s right by my house and now I visit regularly. The food is great in my opinion, there are many things I order often (especially those French donuts) and feel the pricing is exceptionally fair. My favorite thing about this location is actually the staff. They are all such wonderful and dedicated workers. Leslie and Eddie are in management and do an excellent job. Cordelia - Gracie- Savannah- Anthony- Kayla- Kenzie- Heidi- & Abigail all provide top notch customer service at all times. The entire crew is amazing and go above and beyond to take care of any customers who visit. They take pride in their work and it shows.
