Hunley's Neighborhood Grill — Restaurant in Charleston

I'm not negative very often and tend to be a pushover if you will.....I gotta give you this feedback....I spent 30 dollars in about 3 hours at your establishment....I handed the Tender my money and she asked if I wanted change...I told her how much change to give me.....I know it wasn't a great tip but understand it was all I had to give...I was questioned by her for the amount of the tip with a bad attitude...First of all it's not appropriate to even question the amount.....it wasn't 0! I felt bad and very awkward, especially with other patrons around who could have heard the exchange....I'm always a tipper no matter my financial situation.....If your unhappy with your finances maybe talk to your boss....A tip is not a requirement....It's a gracious gesture for serving someone and I'm always greatful....I could never come back here based solely on this situation....I'd feel too...

This is just a fun neighborhood bar to hang out in. We were hungry so we stopped in because we've heard so much about their chicken wings. I have to say, they were truly delicious. They were cooked just right. We had the dry ranch rub wings with homemade blue cheese. Honestly, if you like fried chicken wings they are really good. On sundays, they have wings specials and also a $5 hamburger special. It's not as large as the regular one, but it was plenty. They have lots of options on the menu. Everything that I saw coming out of the kitchen looked really good. The bar was packed. They have buckets of beer, tons of mixed drinks, good music, and a local neighborhood vibe. We will...

I've been going here for years as I'm a buffalo bills fan. Since the new owners have bought it, everything seems just better. I don't care what day it is , the bartenders are on point! The food is at least 3 notches above what you would expect from a small place such as this, specifically the special of the day, which is 5 days a week. Phone dead? They got your charger! Karaoke? They have that as well. It's a small place, but you are noticed there, they remember your name, they are never short tempered and fellas, easy on the eyes. If you are a buffalo fan, Sundays you need to be here. Real people serving real food and making really good drinks. Just go and see...
