Lefty’s Place — Restaurant in Charleston

Lefty’s motto should be “Anything you can do, I can do better!” Hands down, the best pizza in Charleston. Why spend $30 on a large pizza or $60 on two large pizzas that forces everyone to eat the same pizza when you can spend $15 per person and they each get the pie they want, their own personal box of flavortown? It’s the best pizza in Chucktown.

The first time we ordered Lefty’s I was like “4 slices per box? WTH?” Then I realized, if you eat more than two slices in one sitting you will find yourself in a food coma. It’s VERY filling! For each box, you will be able to eat two slices and have two for lunch the next day, which I don’t recommend eating for lunch if you have a desk job, you won’t get much done after lunch!

Came in for a DoorDash and she told me the wrong door first. Then went to ask for an ice water with lemon and she told me she couldn’t do it because she only has bottled water. What kind of bar can’t serve someone water? Then, while I was on the phone sitting at the bar waiting for the order, the bartender told me that I couldn’t sit at the bar if I was waiting on a DoorDash, and there was plenty of seats at the bar, obviously because of...

Traveling through WV, I always stop over in Charleston. Now Ive got a go-to pizza and beer joint.

Great price point for a delicious pizza, good beer tap selection (had the Maibock which was ice-cold and refreshing), and overall just a comfortable atmosphere. Sit-down tables, high tops, bar/board/card games tucked into the corner, and no music so everyone was just chatting and having a great time.

Definitely a must-try for visitors...
