Placed an order at 9:30 on a Tuesday through their website for three sandwiches and one fried oreo. There was no indication given that wait times were longer than usual or that food would take an exorbitant amount of time. Two hours later and there's still no food. Moreover, when we call the store to check on the food we're immediately taken from an automated system and dumped into a waiting room. Presumably by an employee who was either overwhelmed or simply didn't want to take the call. I called multiple times across a half-hour period and no one answered. All y'all had to do was call and say you were down a delivery driver. Would have been cool with that. Instead you refused to pick up your phones, took forever to deliver and lost customers in the process. I'm not entirely sure what leadership at this location is or isn't encouraging but with the rate businesses have been going under here lately, I'd strongly advise you reconsider your approach to customer service.

Different but good. I’ve been making an effort to try newer places in town recently. DP has been on Summers st for a few years now. I was attracted by their low prices and order the mix & match special using the app for pick up. The DP Dunkers were quite good. All white meat, whole muscle chicken which I had tossed in the sweet chili. The sweet chili had a real nice burn. I recommend adding some to an order. The chicken Parmesan calzone was different from what I was expecting. The dough is quite soft with little chew. Now I bet some people prefer this but I like it to put up a little fight. Also the cheese wasn’t entirely melted so I might order it well done next time. The chicken tasted good but the red sauce was….mid. Service was prompt. Restaurant was clean and in good order.

Flew in from Idaho been in a plane all day was starving Pizza sounded good and I came across D.P. Dough Calzones and wow!!!!!! Solid 10/10 on the food delivery was about 45 minutes which is a little long but understand why now they take pride in there Calzone’s are hand down in the top 2 I’ve ever had. I had the BroZone and added green pepper, black olives, and mushrooms and it was epic. Worth the extra wait thank you if I ever fly back to Charleston W.V. You will guaranteed 100 percent have a returning customer. Thank you!!!!!!!!! Won’t let me add the video I did an unboxing and wow!

I had to change my rating because I can't enjoy the yummy food as I use to because they quit delivering all of the sudden it says I'm out of the delivery area but I'm only 2 miles away. I called the store a few weeks ago to ask why they no longer deliver and a fellow got very rude with me. He said he was management but Ive spoken with the manager before and he is a very polite gentleman. I also visited the store recently and spoke with my usual driver who delivers my food on Tuesday late nights and she explained that there was a glitch in the system and they were working on it and she offered to deliver to me anytime and said to just ask for her but I don't want to put her job in jeopardy for breaking the rules but she is very sweet and always working hard when I visit this location. They have some pretty great employees aside from a couple bad eggs( the guy that got rude with me and claimed he was management). I sure hope it gets fixed soon, I order at least twice a week when I can get it delivered. So, Dear Management, PLEASE FIX DELIVERY ISSUES ASAP, Thank you. UPDATE: They are delivering to me again yay!! My favorite driver delivered dinner 20 mins after I ordered, she always leaves it on the chair on the porch and then sends me a very kind text message that reads " This is Meg from D.P Dough , I've placed your order in the chair as to not upset your pups as you've requested. Thanks for chosing D.P Dough, have a nice night 🙂" Well thank you Meg for always remembering not to alert my yapping loud Chihuahuas, (my neighbors appreciate you at 1am 😂)and taking the time to send me a text, other delivery persons have yet to alert me when they leave my order. And thanks to the behind the counter guys, the food is...

The manager of this locations is rude, childish and gives D.P Dough a bad image. My brother ordered food here the other night, had it stolen by the driver and has been waiting for a refund since. He ordered food tonight because it is the only place open when he works. The manager waits another half an hour to deliver his food after food was suppose to be delivered within the hour as per email to criticizes his intelligence when his order was constantly wrong and unacceptable(undercooked, cold, missing ingredients or too little of ingredients) and everytime he tries to get it fixed , he is given an attitude. The manager of this location is not friendly, has an attitude when she has to do any work, dresses unprofessional and give D.P Dough a bad image. If unprofessionalism is what you want with your food look no further than D.P Dough of Charleston, West Virginia. Definitely has lost my next purchase and the ones after that until this location treats the customers with respect and not like a they have mental issues

This location has no idea how to cook calzones. 8/10 times the calzones will be undercooked, missing ingredients or have a teaspoon of meat in them, and when you try to tell them your food has problems they give an attitude and question your intelligence and say that they filled it up with said ingredient(s). Don't waste your time or money at this location unless you like being disrespected, only like bread or love...

So we happened to be looking for somewhere open late through Google search and we found D.P Dough on Summers St. After reading their menu, we setup an online account and ordered through the website. My husband, daughter, & I all ordered different kinds of calzones. We ordered Cheesy, bacon tots, I ordered a garden salad with some extras in it. Let me just say the calzones are HUGE! They are AWESOME too! I ate every single bite of it too. The dough is perfect. It taste better then any pizza, calzone, or stromboli dough I have ever had. I did not need to dip it in anything. I had the one with steak, breaded chicken, & something else in it. I can't remember right now, but I honestly did not like the breaded chicken. It tastes like a cheap nasty chicken patty that is chopped up small and was heated in a microwave. Yuck. The steak and the other I can not remember was great! I recommend those and definitely with the Bbq sauce. The salad was delicious and HUGE. My husband and I shared it. We all shared the cheesy, bacon tots. They come with plenty of both. However, I wish they would use cheese sauce instead of grated cheddar cheese. It does not get melted enough. All in all you have to give them a try! I will definitely be going back time and time...
