McDonald's — Restaurant in Charleston

This place is horrible! And most of the employees are so rude and unprofessional. I went there like 2 days ago. It was around 11pm, I called first to see if the ice cream machine was working before i drove all the way down there for no reason and the manager (Russell) told me yes it was. Well I went through drive thru and the girl that was working it made me sit and wait at the intercom almost 10 mins before even taking my order because she was up front talking to her boyfriend or who ever he was. But finally when she comes on the intercom to take my order. I told her I wanted a 10 piece nugget and 2 oreo mcflurry ice creams. She said that the ice cream machine is broken. I said very nicely that I just called and talk to someone and they said it was working. She then got a crazy attitude and said well you must of called another store, because we have no ice cream! I mean her attitude was outrageous! So I said ok well I'll go to a different mcdonalds and she said "GOOD". I was thinking really? What did I do to this woman for her to talk to me like this? So when I pull out and start going around the building to leave. I decide to park and call back in the store and talk to a manager. I ask him if the ice cream machine was working. He said yes it is. I told him what had happened just moments ago in drive thru and what the girl said. He said he would take care of it and was really nice. So I guess the girl was just so lazy, she decide to lie to me and tell me that the ice cream machine was broken just so she didn't have to fix it! Now that's pathetic! You can't get much lazier then that! But I told the manager over the phone what all I wanted. And he said come back around the drive thru. By that time they was a whole line full of cars. So I had to wait about 15 more mins before we finally get up to the window where the manager headed out our food and Ice cream and apologized. I just couldn't believe it. I feel sorry for that manager because the employees do nothing and he has to do everything. The place is horrible! I refuse to go...

Service was good , except how long it took to get the food. I ordered inside as drive thru was massive. It took longer inside then it would have in drive thru. The store was ok , there were half drank cups of pop and looked like cold coffee on the counter. A case of water in the counter also. There was rolls of I'm guess register tape and some kids booklet scattered all over the counter top. The credit card machine was broken and just barley hanging on to it's stand. I only saw 3 people working and know that times are hard. Appearance is a must, I did notice that the lanes where they make your food had food just swept aside and not cleaned off between food preps. If I must stop by again I will either go to the next McDonald's or somewhere else. It really was bad. Oh I for got there was a huge trash can in front of the drink machine ( don't know if they were working or not ) had to reach around it to get a straw. This use to be a , amazing McDonald's in back in the day. Full of life and people were happy, not like today!

Stopped today at 9:30 pm march 12th and just so people know , sweet tea requirements are tea, water and sugar. I got the water and tea but someone must have forgotten the sugar. Lady at the drive thru taking money was sitting down complaining about it being cold when she opened the window . The guy talking to her was stressing and complaining about how he didn't want to close.. I took a chance and went here again but, yep...

This store is the worst McDonald’s ever. We sat in-line for 15 minutes and the car in front of us only ordered a sweet tea. When we pulled up to the window, there wasn’t a single customer in the store (I would assume the lobby was full since it took so long to place our order)! We originally stopped to purchase a McFlurry but was informed that the ice cream machine wasn’t working. This is the fourth time in 3 months that I’ve attempted to purchase a McFlurry at this location only to be told the machine was broken. Maybe they should advertise that they no longer serve ice cream at this location. The girl was slow coming to the window and took my money and walked away without handing me my drinks. I received my food from a different employee and drove off without drinks. I checked my order before leaving the lot and it wasn’t correct so my daughter walked in to have it fixed and get our drinks and no one assisted her. She was able to talk to someone (a totally different employee, so they seemed to be well staffed, we seen 3 employees in our visit) when she walked back out and walked up to drive thru window.
