Big Lots — Local services in Charleston

Good stuff but out of a lot and disorganized and Hardly Anything was priced! Basically the only prices you coukd find were on a few of the tags from the manufacturer except the beds and furniture those were the only things priced but unfortunately they were filthy you could see the dry skin from people laying on them it was disgusting! And like everyone else they have a rewards card that the cashier they tracked down to ring me up because she was Very high on speed and zig xagging around she gave me a rewards card that said wjen I signed up I'd get $5 off my next purchase but instead I got 15% off my next purchase of $15 or more and emailed asking them about it they said oops they fixed it in another enail to me but it was the same 15% offer. I used to love the big lots in Boone County before it closed and this one Could be loveable to if it had anyone working there that cared about anything besides being high then maybe instead of running ariund scrubbing shelves that are already clean they could wait on customers better and clean stuff needing cleaned like beds and avtually price stuff! And maybe fix the womens bathroom stall doors? One has no lock or anything so it wont stay shut and the other they changed lock types and to cover the big round hole left when they removed the previous lock they just slapped a big lots sticker on it, or a customer wanting privacy did most likely! Lol! It has good stuff tho but couldnt tell you how prices are since...

Found some useful household items today. I'm going to miss Big Lots. I appreciate that Big Lots offers shoppers great prices and quality brands. I'd like for them to stay open somehow. I've always thought of them first when it come to shopping for furniture and other household items.

After talking to one of their associates today, I found out that the staff wasn't given any notice about the store closings. That they found out about their store closings from the news and customers. I think that's just so unprofessional.

The young lady I spoke to told me about how everyone that works at this location is really close and they treat each other like family, so I can only imagine what feelings they're experiencing with the changes. My heart goes out to them, but everyone there seem very friendly and helpful, so I'm sure they'll find great opportunities.

They were so helpful and exceeded any notion of what a team of great workers doing the right stuff can be! More than hardworking with the large online order of ALL furniture- they were spot on and made my long and stressed decision making beforehand feel so useful and proactive -for once-on a personal note! They had nearly everything ready to go, as best as anyone could have and they truly went above and beyond with a courteous and kind attitude from every person that were working that evening. They also were patient and understanding with our extra time and issues that we did finally resolve- thanks to their non pressured and comforting demeanor when I was on the verge of panic and meltdown!
