I like it. I get the same thing all the time: Balboa with French fries with fountain drink. It's pricy here but then, you're Downtown Charleston. Lots of hungry students and tourists behind you waiting to pay. I wish they did Uber Eats. I always call ahead and place order. Wait time is usually very long here: 15-30mins. Especially during lunch hours. You csn grab and go or seat outside on the small umbrella porch they got, which is always crowded and very sunny. You can't sit there when it's raining. No restroom here so beware. They got fountain drinks and sweet/ice tea. Parking is a hit or miss. It's small but people are constantly in and out so you're most likely going to be lucky to find a spot. I park across the street in front of old/abandoned Warehouse.

I ordered essentially a Caprese sandwich with bacon 20 mins online before picking it up. I thought that was pretty simple. After standing in line for and additional 30 mins at the deli, I opened my bag to find my simple sandwich in a murder scene with dripping red liquid everywhere! Why was it a good idea to toast a Caprese sandwich? I certainly did not ask for this. It was so soggy, slippery and gross, it was inedible. Since I spent $13 on this nightmare and wasted all of my lunch hour standing in line, I had no choice but to attempted to eat it and gagged instantly. I want a refund.

Was excited to try this place after hearing they had a “ny style breakfast sandwich”. My bf and I also ordered a chicken parm and mockingbird. The chicken cutlet on each was so dry it was inedible, like they made it days ago and it has been sitting under a warmer since. The breakfast sandwich did not come on a Kaiser roll like I ordered. Be prepared to hit a massive pot hole that’s unavoidable as you drive in and take your life in your hands leaving into a major intersection with no light at the exit. Overall hugely disappointing experience.

I’ve been going to Mozzos in MtP for years. I loved it. They’re fast, reliable, and efficient. So I thought since I work downtown, I’d try Mozzos downtown. I arrived at 9:30 so that I would have time to make it to work by 10. I ordered one simple simple sandwich with a drink. $20 later, I’m sitting and waiting for my one sandwich until 10:00 rolls by and now I’m getting worried. Im now late for work and 4 people have gotten food before me and I wasn’t even given my drink. I go in and they tell me it’s coming but then I ask again and the guy doesn’t even see my order. My ticket “got lost” he tells me. So with no rush, he tells someone to make it in the fly. Tell me why I walked out at 10:35 with a cold sandwich, late to work, no compensation. This Mozzos has got to do better. This was the worst experience I have ever had at this location. It’s such a shame, but I will never be back there. If you’re thinking about going to Mozzos, definitely go to the mount Pleasant location. You’ll drive a little further for better...

Usually go to the Coleman deli and we will be sticking with that location from now on. We waited over 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches that were sitting in a bag on a rack for who knows how long. We waited outside but checked in 3 times, told they weren't ready. It was not busy for a Saturday, maybe that should have tipped us off, so there's no reason for a wait that long. Heard the guys in the kitchen cursing, joking and watched them on their cells. Yet still no sandwiches. Just as I was about to ask for our money back our order was suddenly found by the rudest counter girl I've ever experienced. We were surprised she graced us to take a minute away from her cell to actually notice our food. Is this really a Mozzo? Because the Mount Pleasant locations have nothing but nice people there, with food that comes out in a timely manner even when it's busy. They can't be totally faulted for the location looking old, rundown or dirty but they can be for their terrible employees. Do yourself a favor and stick with the Mount...
