!!CUSTOMERS BE WARNED!!

I'm not the kind to leave a bad review, but after this experience I had to! We went there for a nice burger especially for a restaurant that had a good rating. The atmosphere was meh, it was honestly really hot in there. Either the a/c wasn't working there or what but it was really hot. We each ordered burgers with fries and a drink. Within 30 minutes of coming out of there, my dad started puking! Every five minutes for the past 5 hours now! We are seriously considering going to the ER at this rate because he is feeling so sick! Either the heat spoiled the meat or they're trying to sell expired food, something caused this food poisoning. The rest of us barely touched the food even though we were all starving because it was giving off a weird taste. I went back to read the reviews and saw that someone had a burger as well and their meat was GRAY! I'm not saying this can happen to you but I would double check their meat whenever you order a serving! . . Having read the owner's reply, I must say that I was taken aback. A good word or a solution would've guaranteed me to take down my review even though I will never revisit this establishment because of what happened last night. It's not a case of bad customer service. I will never have trust in this restaurant to deliver food that doesn't cause...

Reviews have of this place so far have been really good so I’m willing to consider maybe they had an off night, but the double burger I had was inedible. It was so over seasoned I couldn’t finish it. My son’s had a similar issue but over seasoned with black pepper. The fries also were too salty (which is a tough thing to do to a fried potato.) I’ve made and eaten a lot of beef, burgers, and fries in my life and this was decidedly in the bottom tier on all counts. Even for a smash burger, the beef portion was scant (no wonder their prices are so good.) Unfortunately, there are few places to get a good burger downtown, but I can cross this one off the list. I’m not sure if the folks who rate this place as “the best burger I’ve ever had” just have never had a good burger or what but I sure don’t get it. Five Guys would have been a better choice. Would...

My boyfriend and I finally got the chance to swing by Fair Deal Grocery earlier this morning, and we are SO happy we did!

We tried to place an online order through their clover system and once we got there, we were informed they were having issues with their service and our food was going to be delayed a bit.

The chef and the front of house guy that was working today were SO kind. They apologized and offered us waters and asked if they could get us anything while we waited, which was not necessary but we definitely appreciated how thoughtful the staff here seem!

The food was awesome and you CANNOT beat the prices; both of us had a full lunch under $40 and we'll definitely be back for happy hour and to explore the rest of y'all's food options another time... WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD FAIR DEAL!!! We are so, so happy...

Small local place with a few tables curbside, as well as tables inside and bar seating. Beer and wine available…but no diet soda. Went with a pino noir which was a hefty pour :-) but served chilled :-(. Went with the classic smash burger and added lettuce, tomato, and onion for an extra $1. Served on a fresh Martins roll (which is huge) which was great but totally overpowered the burger. Too much bun for the amount of burger. I got the single…should have a least doubled it. Although my husband did get the double and also thought there was too much bun. And at that point 3 smash burgers on one sandwhich is the equivalent of one regular burger, and kind of defeating the point. Fries were extra and decent. There were a ton of pick up/take out orders when we were there with most people not eating in.

Great little smash burgers with the best Martin’s potato rolls! Nice and slim, well seasoned and with Brew City-style batter-dipped fries. The ambience, music, and design is all perfect for a burger joint in this less-traveled part of town. The beer cheese flavor is on point and I recommend going with at least one other person and sharing the classic double, beer bacon burger, and a small fry. You will want to dip those fries in all the leftover beer cheese and the pretzel roll is surprisingly light, no lie! The walls are covered in album covers so there’s also a LOT to look at!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST SMASH BURGER IVE EVER HAD. This is my first ever 1 star review because usually I'm very understanding of how businesses operate but seeing how much we payed for these burgers and then biting into what we got is just disgraceful. You guys should be ashamed of this burnt barely edible crap. See pic for reference of the "double smash" burger *Edit* hilarious reply and respect but that burger was still an abomination. Of course I could eat the whole thing, look at my picture and look at your burger. I could've eaten 5.
