I had a terrible experience at this coffee shop. I was yelled at for using their CREAMER in the milk and sugar area, which is complete insanity. I go here everyday and order the same order, an iced espresso. I then go home and add my OWN MILK because I have many sensitives and donât use coffee shop milks due to the seed oils that are put into every milk. I was then adding my sugar and a SPLASH of creamer when the younger boy employee made a comment about me adding it to my coffee? Is this normal? Why do you have creamer out then? To look at it? To put it on a display? I am a LOYAL paying customer, I live on the same street so I am there almost EVERYDAY. The staff's behavior was rude and unprofessional just bc of using a splash of creamer. And on top of this when I called to complain, the worker was LAUGHING on the phone at me. Itâs 2024 and we are laughing on the phone at people when they have an allergy and are getting mocked for it? In addition to this, the coffee is extremely overpriced for something that tastes cheaper than the beautiful coffee shops in downtown Charleston. 9$ for a latte from a coffee shop that is literally in the ghetto of Charleston? I won't be coming back and I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. They are raging lunatic liberals. They were probably crying in the corner of their ghetto coffee shop when Kamala wasnât elected. snowflake losers with a big attitude and their food is disgusting and overpriced. Glad this happened so none of my friends and I ever come...

The entire shop plus the patio exudes love and talent from the gorgeous woodwork to the fiesta ware used to serve coffees and food, to the Barbee bathroom and the beautiful tropical patio. Service for us has always been wonderful with friendly servers and efficient service. The food is.delicious; the various coffee drinks tea and the mimosas have always been perfect to us. The themed pop-up nights with ethnic foods are wonderful....

The owner is South African which shows thru in their menu selections on sandwiches and âhand piesâ - such as Guinness and Beef and well as pepper steak. Milk tart as well. My wife is South African and said these are the most authentic Samosas she has had in the US - not large and dense like Indian samosas, these are made with a thin puff pastry. Everything was delicious! Vibe outside is comfortable, complete with a friendly âshop catâ who may...
