The Lucky Luchador — Restaurant in Charleston

We were in town for my birthday and had spent the day walking around an exploring. We had read about Lucky Luchador online, and as we were walking back to our hotel, we decided to swing by since they were about to open. The bartender was outside, super friendly, and invited us in so we figured we'd pop in for one. At first, we were the only ones there since they had just opened, but pretty quickly, a bunch of locals showed up. It had that great neighborhood feel, and we felt right at home almost immediately. Found The Lucky Luchador in Charleston South Carolina. So glad I did. Went there before our early dinner. Such an amazing space. They call themselves an Irish cantina. A pretty good description! The inside looks like a typical Irish bar. They have a lot of beers on draft, bottle and of course tons of alcohol. The outside space in the back looks more like a Mexican cantina. They have a bar back there with a full service bar as well. The staff were amazing- very friendly and accommodating. Really excellent friendly service. They also have a photo booth! Warning to people with out-of-state driver's licenses. I was vacationing in CHS and was excited to visit this place. However, I was refused service by the server who said he was "uncomfortable serving me" after handing him my real ID. Mind you, I am of age and asked to talk to a manager, yet the server was extremely rude and sassy all the while bending my ID every which way. He repeatedly said he was uncomfortable and was not at all open to communicate with me. Frankly, it was like dealing with a child.
