It was mother daughter summer vacation weekend and we couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations! Booking was a breeze. Contactless check in was smooth sailing! This one bedroom one bath apartment hotel room was top notch. The owner of the Iris thought of everything! Luxurious linens. Beautifully decorated living room hardwood floors throughout. I loved the modern bathroom walking shower with double shower heads. Full kitchen with everything you need while you stay from filtered water at the kitchen sink to espresso machine washer dryer dishwasher stove full fridge with freezer and ice machine even a set of very nice dishes and silverware. No corners were cut when providing any of these amenities. Outside? Beautifully decorated as well. Texting available to the manager all day very responsive and helpful! The view was great from the second floor to the street. Big tall windows allowing in lovely natural sunlight. Even the curtains were beautiful. I took photos because I was inspired by the decor to add these colors and design to my own home! Room was easily accessible by stairs ramp or elevator. The only one drawback was that we couldn’t park onsite as my jeep was too large for the carousel parking. So there was a bit of a walk from the parking garage to the hotel. If you stay it’s best to have a car that fits (rent one if you need to just for the convenience ) so you don’t have to walk from the parking garage. Unless you like waking! There’s lots of cute shops you pass along the way. We love the iris. Highly recommend...
Read moreReally enjoyed the whole experience! Had an issue going thru Airbnb but going direct solved the issue and saved $. The inside is really cool and Euro style, reminded me of apartments from when I l was stationed in Germany. My fiancé and I joked about the height of the microwave, it’s NBA height but the really high ceilings makes it feel bigger too. On day 3 we wanted fresh towels, I sent an email and within 5 minutes got a knock and they were delivered with a smile! Nice! Location was easy drive or Uber to downtown, just be advised the street is kinda tight and there’s no sign for The Iris on the building. The place feels very secure with the big steel gates, and the parking carousel is really cool design and not as complicated to use as it sounds. I got to where I could get down there, retrieve the car, and be on the way just as fast as if it was a big parking lot! One last thing on that, a young guy struggled to back his car out and leave right before me…when I hit the number to retrieve my car, the number just blinked. Hmmmm, well somehow in his struggles he must’ve knocked it off track, I took a guess and pressed “R” and the whole thing reset, then let me get my car. Iris may want to put a laminated card by the keypad. But overall highly recommend this place and I will definitely stay...
Read moreHad a great stay here. The place is gated and inside has 3 vertical rotary car parking systems, which is tricky but straight forward if you follow the instructions on the registration process. The instructions from the team were clear. We arrived at night and were able to get in, park, and enter our rooms without any added communication with anyone, due to the efficiency of the initial registration process before. Inside the room, there was an induction stovetop and a 2-in-one laundry machine that also functioned as a dryer, including laundry pods. There was a filtered water faucet, and bottles provided. Also included were cutlery as well as bedding for the convertible sofa bed. They also included a Dyson hairdryer which was beneficial. The accommodations included more than the standard hotel room at this price point, and the atmosphere felt more personal than one too. Checking out was simple and contactless, and made the stay even more pleasant and private. There was a clear sense of attention to detail in the entire guest experience from communication, to interior design and lighting. I would stay here again if I found myself back...
