I genuinely HATE having to give this smoothie king one star. But lord have mercy, their manager needs to be fired. I placed a togo order on Thursday and went through the drive through to easily pick it up. When I pulled up to the window the manager mugged me, rolled his eyes and said “next time just come inside”. I said okay and went on about my business. But, his snarky attitude did not end here. My boyfriend, in the passenger seat noticed his attitude and told him he didn’t need to roll his eyes at me. This manager yelled out “We can get it cracking” as we drove off. (the Charleston way of saying we can take this outback and fight). This was the most unprofessional experience, and I hope this smoothie king doesn’t put anyone else through this! The customer service was rock bottom horrible. The poor attendants were doing their job and minding their business. For the owners information, the man seemed to be in his late 20s-mid 30s and has one bad eye. The next day I came INSIDE to pick up my usual gladiator smoothie, and the same man says out loud “I’m so tired of white people, black people, and Puerto Ricans”. Well sir, I guess this is not the job for you! I love the quality of the smoothies here. The products seem very fresh and are so yummy. But the horrible service I receive makes this smoothie king not worth my pretty penny. Long story short, this man does not need to be working in customer service....

I order online a lot, and give the places the benefit of the doubt and tip well.. the employees here have terrible attitudes as if your bothering them.. like,, im sorry i paid for a product and that caused you to have to work.. while you're at work... Not to mention the smoothies are here are basically flavored water with chunks of unblended ingredients when you get them. Thats not a smoothie, thats just gross.. especially considering the amount of money people pay for that garbage. This review isn't based off of just one bad experience. Its on multiple accounts. So now I drive across town out of the way to another location, because like I said, i love SK bur this one is the absolute WORST. I get it if you're short staffed. That can be frustrating, but who's not short staffed right now? That doesn't give you the right to be a D bag to your customers. Tighten up, or find somewhere...

Fruit shortage, card machine down, ice machine down, or (more frequently) being told they're "no longer accepting orders" 40 minutes before closing WITH a car at the pickup window in front of me. Tonight was the last straw. Every single attempt to reach someone via the telephone number listed goes straight to voicemail. I was really hoping management would put a stop to this circus, yet it still continues... leading me to believe they're either oblivious to what goes on at the store, or they're part of the problem.
