I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cava in the Park Rd Shopping Center in Charlotte, NC, and I must say that it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere immediately set the tone for a memorable evening. However, it was Ashanti, the exceptional staff member, who truly elevated my dining experience to new heights.
Ashanti's genuine passion for food and her commitment to providing exceptional service were evident from the start. Her warm smile and infectious enthusiasm created an inviting ambiance that instantly made me feel welcome and appreciated as a guest. She was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also had a genuine interest in ensuring that each guest had an unforgettable dining experience.
Speaking of the dishes, the food at Cava was nothing short of exceptional. The flavors were perfectly balanced, showcasing a harmonious blend of fresh ingredients and innovative culinary techniques. From the first bite to the last, every dish was a symphony of flavors that delighted my taste buds and left me craving more.
What truly stood out, however, was Ashanti's genuine passion for ensuring my satisfaction.
In addition to Ashanti's exceptional service, the overall ambiance of Cava was enchanting. The chic and contemporary decor, combined with the warm lighting and comfortable seating, provided the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the table setting to the presentation of the dishes, further enhanced the overall experience.

Everyone in this store looked tired. The person who made my bowl looked tired and uninterested. After I paid, one of the beverage fountains machines did not stop flowing and none of them showed interest in fixing it and waited for a few minutes before fixing it and left the puddle of juice everywhere. No initiative from any of the staff. Please make sure they are paid well so they can be more interested with their job!

This used to be my favorite place to get my veg bowl. The people who used to work here nice and kind.
The ladies who work here now are VERY MEAN and RUDE. The lady who took my order was rushing me to pick what I wanted and had an attitude the whole time. Like she wanted to go home asap.
The cashier had the worse attitude. She was rushing to get my order done. Like she was annoyed at me. She gave me my total when I was about to order a drink. She rolled her eyes after I added a drink. Asked for a receipt and she kept pointing to a different receipt. She ended up printing it.
There was no reason to rush me as I was the only one in line.
I ordered roasted veg and they looked like they barely touched the fire so they were hard.
I understand that it's Thanksgiving tomorrow, but that is not an excuse to be rude and annoyed.
Not coming back here again. They lost a customer. They ruined my favorite place.

Every bowl you get from Cava is just a melody of flavors. Its like a collage of fresh, delicious ingredients all put together to create a masterpiece. Vegies are seasoned well and roasted to perfection.
A little bit of the lentils, crazy feta, and brusselsprouts. Boom! Delicious!
Some honey chicken, brown rice, tzatziki sauce. Boom! Delicious!
Corn, greens, hummus, grilled veg. Boom! Delicious!
Cava never disappoints. Everyone in their staff is friendly and helpful. Soda and juice are legit. No artificial sweeteners. Everything is always clean and the atmosphere...
Read moreWe tried to come here the day before they opened when they were giving away free meals, but the love was wrapped around the building. We came back for a team lunch a few days later.
We didn't get there until about 12:30 and it was crowded. The love moved fast, but the restaurant is not made for a lot of people. It's very loud and there isn't very much seating. We had a group of 7 and we were able to find a table, but we had to split up. You also can't move the tables, so the largest group that can sit together is 4.
As for the food — it's a build your own Mediterranean style restaurant (think Chipotle). It's similar to Yafo. There are no suggested options.
You can get a bowl or pita and do a salad or grain base. I did a salad base with SplendidGreens. It was a mix of kale and Brussels sprouts (and something else I can't remember). You get one protein — I picked spicy lamb meatballs (there's an upcharge) You get three sauces and I got roasted red pepper hummus, harissa, and crazy feta. You get as many toppings as you want and I got all except olives and lettuce (and they were out of the seasonal veggies). You then finish with one dressing and I got lemon herb tahini. They also gave me pita with my bowl.
Overall, I really liked it. The lamb meatballs were delicious, but I wish they gave you more than 4 small meatballs. I probably wouldn't get harissa again because while it was good, the spice overtook the flavor of the whole bowl. I loved the SplendidGreens base. Much more unique than your normal salad base.
The drink options are really good. They make their own sodas, but I went for the lemonades. I mixed the cucumber lime mint with the classic lemonade.
Overall, I think I like Yafo better, but it's definitely close. I think Cava has better choices for your base.
I really enjoyed my meal and I would come back again, but either with a smaller group or I would...
