Overall, the food, service and quality are good. They miss a beat every now and then and a few times I have been served cold food, burnt coffee and soggy fries.
Now to their corporate office. As an organization with a Christian mission, they have failed to uphold their own commitment of being faithful and having a positive influence on all. My story begins one afternoon during my lunch break in the Spring of 2013. It was at their uptown location. I had just finished lunch and was taking my tray to the trashcan when my foot struck a very greasy spot on the floor, causing me to violently slip up and down to the floor. I tried to catch myself using my right hand but the momentum of my body flying up into the air was too great and I fell hard! There were several people sitting in booths directly in front and beside me but they didn't move to help. Finally a security guard walked over, and also a worker came from behind the counter to help me. It was at that time that I realized I was having severe pain in my upper shoulder and screamed for them to wait. As I lay on the floor, I asked what I had slipped on and the worker said " oh, it's water and grease from the trash that someone drugged out of the can onto the floor, and it looks like they forgot to put a (wet floor) sign out". When I could finally get up I looked towards the trashcan to see that in fact, there was no sign, but up towards the front of the room near the door a sign had put right at the entrance to the restaurant.
Long story short - my rotator cuff was badly torn in the fall requiring extensive surgery, rehab and recovery. Chick fila denied any wrong doing and said that the accident was my own fault for not looking where I was going. Not one person from the office admitted any wrong doing to the fact of there not being a safety sign warning customers of the greasy water and trash spilled from the bag in the area where I fell.
So why would chick fila align themselves as a pro-customer and customer focused Christian organization then "LIE", cheat and practically kill when they were clearly the ones doing wrong??!
That's bad...
Read moreI was at this location early in the morning, and one of the drive thru line i guess was not working because i was park there for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to take my order while the lane to my left was taking orders..so i pulled up to the window and i explained to the Manager Rosalia what was happening, she was not only rude but dismissive..she told me i had to go around because she couldnt take my order, i told her that if that drive thru lane is not working they should put a sign and a cone so no one goes in that lane..she did not care what i had to say and and went on to tell me to call corporate with my complaints because she did not care..i left and called corpororate and now i know why The arrowood and south tryon Manager Rosalia was so confident in being rude and not caring about how she treats customers..because my complaint goes back to that store because there is not a district manager since chick fil a are privately own..i will never go back to this store and from the reviews I have read here, im not the only one having issues at this location..This Manager Rosalia needs to go back to training on how to treat customers or better yet she needs to be fire!! and to the owner of this location, when enough people get fed up with the terrible customer service at this location eventually people will not only come here and complaint but will also stop buying at...
Read moreI am absolutely furious. My sisters just returned to the U.S., and we were looking forward to a simple, refreshing Chick-fil-A meal. What we got instead was a disgusting failure on every level—and a dangerous one at that.
Ice cream was missing. I had to ask for it. Mildly annoying, but fine.
No straws. No sauces. Lazy, but not worth a full complaint on its own.
The final straw: both of our sandwiches came with bacon. We did not ask for bacon. It’s not on the receipt. I took several bites before realizing what was in my food—and I don’t eat pork for religious reasons. I was disgusted. Two visibly Muslim women in hijabs were in the car. It’s hard not to see this act of putting bacon on my sandwiches as intentional. And carried out with malicious intent.
There is no excuse. This isn’t just a “mistake.” This is a serious violation of dietary restrictions. Had someone with a pork allergy eaten this, it could have led to a hospitalization—and it would’ve been entirely on this location’s hands. You don’t get to mess around with people’s food and health.
Of course, they closed early for the 4th of July, so there was no way to reach anyone and no way to make it right in the moment. Just a sickening, negligent experience that left me angry and violated.
This wasn’t just bad service. This was a dangerous, disrespectful failure that needs to...
