The worst experience of a chick fil a I’ve ever received in my life. Tonight I left the hospital with my 3 sons to where one had to get stitches on his leg after having an accident at pre k. We leave the hospital to cheer him up with some ice cream from one of his favorite places which is chick fil a. I ordered 3 ice cream cones and cup and then a frosted lemonade which looks like a milkshake but made with ice cream and lemonade.
I have been ordering the same thing from this Location multiple times a week. And all of the sudden I pull up in the drive through & the employees refused to put whip cream and cherry on the frosted lemonade because the manager said no I can’t have it and that it doesn’t come with it.
They called the manager and sent someone out and I told them I wanted a refund since they simply couldn’t put the whip cream & cherry. They said okay but then decided to just put it on so they wouldn’t lose the sale.
Any other time I come in the day time and they simply put it on and I always offer to pay for the whip cream and cherry but they say no it’s okay because even the milkshake you have to request the whip cream & cherry.
My son was disappointed because he loves to eat the whip cream & cherry as the highlight of dessert and they literally tried to steal the joy out of that by being rude about not wanting to do it.
The lid wasn’t on properly and it spilled out all in my car. And then one guy randomly complete my hair to try and diffuse the situation.
They all said it’s because of the “white lady manager that is mean and un accommodating due to her making her own rules”
I was a former employer of chick fil a back in my day and worked for them for 3 years. Never in a million years have I ever been treated like this at any location. I will never return here. And will keep driving up the street to the one off n Tryon.
This made our night 10xs worse stopping here and arguing with multiple employees about some whip cream & cherry that I could have simply paid for but they wouldn’t let me.
HORRIBLE SERVICE....
Read moreSave yourself the annoyance and drive a mile up the road to the University Chick-fil-a. It’s literally like 1.5 miles away off Harris and that’s what I’ll be sticking to from here on out, if I’m not in a rush.
Somehow since this location opened the quality of the restaurant has gotten SIGNIFICANTLY worse. At first I didn’t mind much because it was a new location and they were working out the kinks. But how does it go downhill from there?
Countless times my order has been just plain wrong. And the food quality is horrific. As someone who sometimes is quietly off that loud herself 🍃 I genuinely think the cooks and baggers are high back there. Chick-fil-a may be a Christian restaurant but they are def using the devil’s lettuce in there. Which I genuinely wouldn’t care about if they wouldn’t give me fries that could be KNOCKED ON THE TABLE and make a sound.
I used to work at a chick fil a myself. No way that should have been allowed to come through the fry window. They were orange, and burnt to a crisp. They made a sound when they dropped out the bag. Also many times there’s still fat on the chicken patty! I understand that happening every once and awhile but EVERY TIME?!? come on.
As other reviews have mentioned this location frequently shorts customers on food portions. Not sure why. I ordered a large fruit bowl and it was barely full, they most def just took a medium and dumped it in there. This has happened twice now. Secondly, every time I order a small fry from here, I kid you not, they put 6-8 fries in the box. It’s absolutely ridiculous. If I go to the University Place location, this isn’t an issue.
The operator needs to get on top of this situation. I don’t know where he is. Some of the staff there are very nice and friendly which is why I give the atmosphere a 3 but the majority either need retrained, or to be let go as they clearly aren’t meeting the standards that are expected of a chick-fil-a employee. If you don’t wanna do the work, find...
Read moreI will say their food has always been hot.Everyone I've encountered has been wonderful. I've had a change of heart towards this location after dining in yesterday. The gentleman across from me, ordered his food from the table. While sitting waiting a very loud employee shouts out a name. (Keep in mind the food is ordered from the table it asks for a table number.) So the man walks to the counter which is no big deal but he looks as if it could be another person with is name, since you're asked the table number. She then ask if that's his name and he says yes so she hands it to him. As he is walking away the employee says to another customer, "It's like people be somewhere else in their mind". They both then laugh. It's not about the fact that she was to lazy to do her job and bring it to the table It's the fact she spoke poorly to a customer about another customer. The second person that ordered from the table, their food was carried straight to the table by a different employee. This behavior is not typical for Chick-fil-A but it sure didn't make me want to return. None of this would have happened had she did her job according to procedure. Choose kindness always. You never know what someone is...
