I have been visiting the Real African Art gallery since first hearing about it shortly after opening. I have purchased several pieces from there for my entertainment center and have been eyeing a beautiful Lion painting for sometime. I visited this evening, had an enjoyable conversation with Cal as usual, and finally decided to purchase the portrait, immediately hanging it on my accent wall once home. I LOVE IT and my visit to the Real African Art gallery! Please visit and sure your support if in or visiting Charlotte.

My husband and I visited today. This is a beautiful gallery. The prices are reasonable. We purchased a few pieces. It was so hard to select something because everything is so beautiful. We got to speak to the owner, Cal Ganda. He was very nice and answered all of our questions. His place is also used for private events. There was one going on when we visited. This is definitely a place to go if you are in the area or visiting Charlotte.

Attended the "Sip and See", the art was amazing. The gallery is filled with unique pieces, from paintings, sculptures, masks, jewelry and items that were weaved. It was a pleasant experience, and the gallery is very inviting. The owner and staff were friendly, personable and more than helpful. I left with a beautiful sculpture for my mantel. I definitely will purchase here again.

A Truly Authentic and Enjoyable Experience The Real African Art Gallery is a true gem, showcasing an incredible exhibition of authentic African masterpieces. Cal Ganda was exceptionally personable and knowledgeable, taking his time to thoughtfully explain the history and meaning behind each piece.

What stood out most was the relaxing, no-pressure environment. Cal guided us in selecting artwork that we truly connected with, making the experience both meaningful and enjoyable.

If you haven’t had the chance to visit this gallery, you are genuinely missing out on a remarkable cultural and artistic experience.

Purchased Juneteenth sip and look tickets to hopefully educate my 4 year old on some African History and possibly purchase some artwork to ONLY get kicked out of the establishment for having a kid. Which NO where in the flyer for this event, nor in the description did it state that NO KIDS were allowed. Owner stated that kids can’t be where alcohol is being served which is TOTAL BS. Kids are in restaurants which serve Alcohol ALL THE TIME! I will definitely be taking with a discriminatory...
