Grow Cafe — Restaurant in Charlotte

I recently visited Grow Cafe in Charlotte, NC, with my family and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is modern yet cozy, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up on work while your little ones play! 🥰

The coffee is absolutely top-notch. My husband ordered a coffee, and it was perfectly crafted. The baristas clearly know their craft and take pride in every cup they serve. My girls ordered a doughnut and it was fresh and delicious! There is even a little section of handmade crochet items for sale at the counter! 😉

The play area is so fun and engaging. There is a section for kids to enjoy reading books and my girls could not get enough of the play houses. It was hard to pull them away when it was time to leave!

What truly sets Grow Cafe apart is the outstanding customer service. The staff and owners were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about making your visit enjoyable. They went above and beyond to ensure we all had everything we needed. ☕️

Overall, Grow Cafe is a gem to Charlotte and I highly recommend giving it a visit. I’ll definitely be returning...

Was looking for a place to take my nephew who was visiting and figured this would be the best place based of the reviews but was seriously disappointed. Let me say first the place is perfect for kids and the play area is amazing but was diminished by how rude the worker was. She was dismissive as soon as we walked in, ignored us and when we went to place our order did not acknowledge us till we talked first. She only responded by short responses and was on her phone the entire time. I’m not sure if she was new or was having a bad day but it took 20 mins for her to make coffee as she was watching tiktoks the entire time and got upset when we did not know the rules and did not try to explain them to us. I do not like to leave bad reviews ever but we felt super uncomfortable being here and had to leave almost immediately after getting our drinks after feeling like a burden to the worker. Most reviews are saying how great the owners are and I truly believe they are but my experience was not the same unfortunately. I really wish we could have enjoyed our morning here as my nephew seemed to enjoy it but it never feels good to feel like...

Ok wow. I just have been there for the first time and I was so impressed. From the very first second the owner/staff is so friendly and welcoming. Since my little one is under one we just paid $5 for our playtime and ordered a delicious latte from the special menu - very yummy. She even brought it to me and my little one and placed it on a table next to the play area so I can watch her and enjoy my coffee - very sweet and thoughtful. The play area itself was split into baby and toddler - which I really appreciate. You can try both but I like that it’s separated if you need space. Many toys, foam blocks and books to play and explorer and It was very clean and well organized. They even had Storytime and bubbles today! Make sure to follow them on Instagram for all the fun events. I will definitely come back! So nice that you get out of the house, kids can enjoy different toys and play and you can finally enjoy your well deserved coffee! Just make sure to bring grippy socks (or buy them there).
