I frequent this location and aside from not knowing what "cut in half" means, I had no complaints, until today. I live in a secure building that requires a callbox being used. The driver contacted me and I pressed the button to let him in. I waited and I waited and nothing. I couldn't go and look around as I was on a conference call. I contacted the store and was told he is back now and left it at the gate. The entrance to my apartment building, in the slush where people are in and out of and I can't run and get? I'm expected to eat food sitting outside for an extended amount of time? According to the kid who answered the phone "it would have been left outside at your door anyway" Um, no, I was waiting at my door to receive it. Asked to speak to a manager, at no point did I receive an apology or anything. Why didn't he just call me back on the callbox if he couldn't be let in? Or call my cell phone directly? Why leave it out there for anyone to mess with? Especially during a pandemic. I get everything going on in service/retail and I am empathetic to it, I go above and beyond to tip well and be extra appreciative and polite to the workers. I was told they would "try and refund my order" and no I didn't want another order brought back out, I couldn't risk the inability to pull a gate again or what could have been done to my food by apathetic employees who were unapologetic. (New Review) taking back my 5 star review. Within 3 months I've ordered twice & there has been delays in delivery. The motto is freaky fast but I live less than 5 mins from this location & it takes more than 35 minutes for me to receive my food. Last time they delivered it to the wrong door & I had to call them for another sandwich. This time I had to call because the status of the online tracking hadn't changed to "out for delivery" & it had been well over 20 minutes. Ordered (2) subs, show up in 20 minutes, both employees are at tables, playing on thier phones, order not ready, drive over to Publix picked-up a few things, returned and they were just starting to make the subs, 40 minutes after I ordered it. Open the sandwich, and found what I described, told them I would not pay for old brown food, they said they can't give refunds, only credit.
