Kilted Buffalo Plaza Midwood — Restaurant in Charlotte

What a fun place! We are staying in Charlotte for 3 weeks and we're looking for a place to shoot pool. The have 7ft valley tables that are in pretty nice condition (see the photo with the corner of the table...so shiney!) Felt was a little worn, but played nice.

Not only do they have 2 pool tables ($1.50 a game), darts, pop shot basketball, skee ball, corn hole, tabletop shuffleboard, connect 4, board games, ace, and ping pong!

We ordered salmon bites and they came in a little boat shaped plate, as well as quesadillas which were hearty and flavorful.

Well tequila shots were a little pricey at $7 a shot...yes for well tequila 👎🏼

White claw was $4 👍🏼

No happy hour apparently ever 👎🏼

They were also running a poker tournament in the front. Good mix of people, good vibe and lots of room with a huge space and high ceilings.

There is also a fenced in patio outside with tables and chairs and nice tan stone gravel.

Only 1 bartender, but it wasn't very busy mid day, which...

Was there last Sunday 1/12 to watch the Eagles game. We got 2 buckets of beer and a single beer, total was $50 and change. We tipped $10. A few days later we get notified by our credit card asking if we meant to tip 181%. Someone changed the bill so that we paid for 1 bucket of beer ($20)and the remaining $29 was added to our tip. The total remained the same but some shady employee is stealing from the company. We would normally ignore this since the total didn’t change but this is the second time this has occurred…..we have only ever gone 2 times. Makes me wonder how many other people this happens to. We will not be returning and I hope the owner sees this and investigates the employee(s) that...

I live across the street and called the other evening to place a go order. I’ve never been here before but I wanted to give it a try for their wings. I called three separate times over 30 minutes around 10pm and nobody picked up the entire time. It said they were open until 1 a.m. When I went o it and walked my dog, I could see that they were open and operating and was far from busy. So I called once more while watching them from outside, and it got sent straight to the voicemail because it only rung twice. II won’t be giving this place a try due to this experience. I was disappointed because it’s so conveniently...
