La Cabana Restaurant — Restaurant in Charlotte

I came to visit Charlotte again and came to my favorite pupusa place but somehow they’ve lost touch of what a pupusa should look like. I ate more masa than what’s inside of it. Sadly I returned to the restaurant the next day to see if they can put a little more extra meat and I still got the same results. Charges my mom 53$ for two plates of food and one large horchata. One she ate there and one she asked for to go. Claimed it was extra since she got another meat on one plate but the other plate on had one. Pupusas have NO FILLING. I was eating straight dough, I threw the other two away. The Curtido was had no flavor and tasted old. Never again will we come to this deli. I recommend 503...

Pupusas were on point. Reminds me of how my grandmother use to make them when growing up. I saw someone’s comment and it said something about the pupusas having to be thicker, not necessarily. Back in the motherland, different locations have there own ways of making them. But definitely a spot I’m coming to...
