Amazing Food and Fresh Halal Meat !!

Golden Bakery is hands down one of the best places in Charlotte for fresh, authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly baked pita, naan, and manakish hits you.

The food is simply incredible.. My favorites are the cheese and zaatar manakish and their spinach & cheese fatayer bursting with flavor and perfectly baked.

What makes this place even better is the availability of halal fresh meat. It’s not every day you find a bakery that offers both delicious pastries and a great selection of halal meats. Everything is fresh, high quality, and prepared with care.

On top of that, the prices are unbeatable, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you haven’t tried Golden Bakery yet, you’re missing out on a true local treasure!

I stumbled on this place when I was looking for a Middle Eastern grocery and butcher (next door). They have brick ovens, fresh pastries, incredible cookies, and all made in an open kitchen right in front of you.

I've never tasted better pita and flat bread in the US, and I've sampled bakeries in Detroit and New York. If you're looking for the best cookies in Charlotte, try this place. The sweets are not cheap...the owner told me they use real butter, pistachios, almonds, and dark chocolate for their cookies, for instance. This review is overdue. I used Uber Eats for dinner on Thursday, 11-17-22 for lunch. The portions were enough for both lunch and dinner. I ordered the lamb sambousa, fried eggplant baba ghanouj, cheese manakish, and warbat.

I wasn't expecting the lamb to only be lamb meat. Most other sambousa I've has had vegetables; it was still good. The eggplant was different but it was good. The baklava was ok. Not really enough pistachios to make a...
