If you're looking for a place where you can bring your alcoholic (or better said, drinking) and non-alcoholic 'frieeendz' plus your furry four-legged friend (outside) and get some pretty decent food, then Lenny Boy Brewing (LBB) is the place for you & your trusty companions. LBB is conveniently located in South End right off of Tryon Street. It can be easy to miss but if you see the LBB sign on the building and the gates, then you're in the correct location.
Lenny Boy has a nice assortment of beer, kombucha, sours, and munchies. From IPAS to Pilsners to to Lagers to sours, they cover almost any of your beer needs; and for my sober friends, they have an array of kombucha flavors such as Good ol' Ginger to Lavenderade to Strawberry Limeade, LBB has it signed, sealed, and delivered. As far as the food is concerned, they have menu items such as Italian Grilled Cheese, Garlic Parmesan Pretzel, Charcuterie Board, and many other handheld and delectable bites to satisfy any taste-buds. Their customer service is ON POINT, the taproom stays nice and tidy, and the atmosphere is very relaxed but fun.
I usually go to Lenny Boy for TRIVIA NIGHTS which are incredibly fun and competitive. I also love when LBB host events at their venue that incorporates the small and/or local businesses in and around Charlotte, NC. It really opens up the reality that we are a city of strong entrepreneurs and we, as a city, are here to support them.
All in all, Lenny Boy Brewing is a place I would definitely recommend to my family and friends AND NOW, I am recommending it to you that is reading this review. If you need more insight, just look at the pictures I provided or read the other amazing reviews about LBB; as you can see, they do not have a 1-star AT ALL because it's an phenomenal establishment.
Cheers MATE$! ...:::...

Overall: this was our 3rd stop on our mini-brewery tour for a long weekend in Charlotte and we definitely enjoyed it. We arrived on a Friday night and they were very busy and the place was hoppin'. They had a live band outside and it was a very fun atmosphere. We were trying to hit a few more that night before dinner. Beers were good from what we tried. We love flights and they were not doing them because they were too busy (which definitely stinks). Few sours we tried were tasty, especially one. Seems like a pretty awesome brewery and we enjoyed our time there, it just wasn't a long stop this time around. Love to go back during the day to enjoy.
Brew: since they weren't doing flights, we only tried two brews as we wanted to hit a few more places before the standard closing time of 9 PM. The two sours we tried were great (Foeder -- 9/10) and solid (Always Sour in Philly -- 7/10). We've had breweries do the same thing with flights when busy (our fav, Slow Pour in Lawrenceville, GA) and not offer them, but I really think/wish breweries would rethink this policy. Yes, I get that its more work and time when you're busy, but the wide variety you offer your customers can not only satisfy customers, but also encourage longer stays and business along with finding amazing beers you love and want to return for.
Service: it was very busy, but they addressed it very well when a big line started forming for brew inside. They opened several lines and the service staff were friendly and helpful.
Location/Scene: very cool interior and exterior. Big open space with firepits and tables outside. Would've loved to have come during the day to enjoy the scenery in a cool location.
Overall: strong brews with...

This is one of is my favorite go-to places! It’s convenient, has a nice environment and the staff has always been friendly. Good vibes all aroundX Came out for a drink after dinner since I was craving some kombucha. 💁🏻♀️ It was pretty since outside and they have a patio area with spacious seating so this was perfect. Inside is very spacious as well; this happens to be another facility I wouldn’t be worried about if your still a bit nervous going out during COVID. I felt comfortable there as I’ve been here a handful of times during these uncertain times. I actually prefer to just go here for a drink.
The bar area has markings on the floor with for where you/guest should be standing to be at a distance. Also they don’t have any menus out, but they are starting to serve some limited snacks, just ask! Also, all the tables are self seating, the have a laminated sign which has red on one side and green when you flip it. Green side up means the tables have been sanitized. The staff ask that when you leave the tables regardless, to flip the sign to the red side they can sanitize it immediately. This is very easy and convenient for everyone to do their part.
The hours have been changed with covid19, so be sure to take a look and plan wisely what time you do in. Somehow, time goes way to fast everytime I’m there and I feel bad when I’m one of the last groupies to leave. I hate being that person. But anyways, I’ll be back! Very soon. Probably tomorrow.😩😂 Thanks...
