The Fairwood 226 — Restaurant in Charlotte

Let me start out by saying the food is incredible - well done, great flavor, the works.

The music selection is one of the most confusing I have ever heard... but about 75% of it pleases the crowd, so hopefully the speakers get updated to accommodate their selections before the bass destroys them.

That being said, the overcrowding / lack of social distancing / no mask enforcement during a pandemic is despicable. Other concepts in the area try so hard to abide by the rules, and this place only cares about packing it out to get every dollar it can. If you want COVID, this is a guaranteed spot to get it with people yelling and smoking their JUULs in your face. Security simply takes cash at the door to overcrowd rather than maintain capacity limits, and enforces nothing pertaining to safety of their guests.

Hope to see changes sooner rather than later, so the city can actually have all its hospitality venues open up rather than having bad apples like this continuing to...

Will definitely be a hot spot in South End! Great open-air patio concept with plenty of shaded seating if you need it. Multiple access points to the bar to handle a busy crowd inside and out. You can order food from kiosks rather than having to wait on a server and you get a text to pick up your food so you can mingle around the bar without having to worry about your server finding you. The sandwiches and apps we ordered were pretty simple, but fresh and tasted great. Super friendly staff, that alone I'd go back for! If I had to pick a downfall, it would be lack of parking and the rooftop is a little smaller than I anticipated. Overall, awesome experience and highly recommend...

Me and my friend found this place last night at the last minute and we was excited….until we got to the bar and asked about the drinks to the bartender in an all white 2 piece costume. She told us the drinks were $10 bucks a piece and my friend told her we were paying separately my friend gave her $10 in a cash and I paid with debit and they were nasty it was not worth it. I get a charge of $25 bucks on my card and I put no tip on the receipt. This is fraud. I basically paid $25 for one drink that wasn’t worth it. I’ll never be back!
