Well we have to take the good and take the bad and their you have the facts of Life. My visit to this location on Sunset Rd was unfortunately a bad visit. When I arrived to the drive around window their was two vehicles in front of me. I get my turn at the menu, of course I want something that is limited time only because I may just miss out on the opportunity to try it. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger in a combo. The young man quicky cut me off saying we don't have that. I asked have what? "We don't have mushrooms okay it happens occasionally no big deal. So I ordered the double quarter pounder combo with a latte for my beverage. "We don't have any lattes " as the young man spoke out thru the load speaker. Okay this is why I should just have driven to Wendy's or Hardee's which was nearby. Since no one was behind me in line I choose to stay put and bite my tongue and thinking to myself that just maybe the General manager was on vacation and this is why they are out of supplies such as FOOD. I didn't see anything I wanted since I was unable to eat something I haven't been able to try. I told the young man all I wanted was the be double quarter pounder nothing else. A car pulls behind me and I drive to the window at this point I can't even remember if they had 1 or 2 windows. So I pulled to receive my buger the young man opened the window said I need you to pull up. I didn't even have to think much about what I had to say. "NO" I will not pull up I should be able to sit and wait for my order here . I am just important as the next poor guy that will have to be treated like nothing. Thank God for allowing me to be patient with people that don't even know what please and thank you mean in today's young society. The young man yells at the person who was directing this shipwreck."he said no he not moving" wow amazing the window quickly opened and my buger. Not even a single thanks or a kiss my, hey got food. I gave a two star rating because the burger was hot fresh and made to order. I have to say new management and attention to detail has turned this place around. I forgot when I reviewed this place and it failed my expectations. Well, during and since the pandemic they have paid attention to their customer comments. They have done a complete turnaround and I give them 4 stars! Thank you for hot fast food, good service and fast drive thru times.

So I forgot I was boycotting them because of their lousy service and went back today. I ordered a buttermilk chicken biscuit, the chicken crust was hard, crunchy and looked old and was extremely dry. I called and some person, who claimed to be the manager said "We changed the oil yesterday" , when I heard that I almost threw up!
Nasty, dirty restaurant.
The drive thru display has been broken for over a year, so we never know what our total is until we get to the window. Worst drive thru! Everytime I come, they mess up my order. How hard is it to get 2 items right and now Patricia took my card to give me a refund...it has been 10 mins. Wtf!
10/27/18 I drove past and Google asked for a new review. Well it looks as if they are doing renovations on the exterior, and are still open. They need to do the same inside, change their staff except the 2/older black women who are so nice and try their best. What is the saying you can put lipstick on a pig, and it is still a pig. Someone please gut this restaurant, get new staff (except the 2, I said), get new management and make sure they are trained to cook to the standards of McDonald's. Read moreThis is the old McDonald's that I once knew. Hot fast and always smiling. I would like to highlight the African American young lady with the professional voice that greeted me and calmly took my order at the drive thru. She is the definition of patient and the meaning of covering all the bases. On July the 10th 2024 at or around 1:52 pm she greeted me with such dignity and grace. Once I approached the first window she took my payment method and told me to have a good day. I told her how impressed I was with her superior customer service skills and that I would like to mention this to her manager. Once I arrived at the next window I was greeted by another African American lady. That also greeted me with a smile. She made sure that my drinks were correct and that my order was complete before allowing me to leave. Once again I was blown away with another level of professionalism so I had to do it. I asked if I could speak with the manager on duty. Once the manager came to the window I told her about my awesome experience and just how impressed I was with the degree of professionalism that these two employees displayed. The food was hot and the fries were fresh and the tea was perfect.
