Pagoda Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Charlotte

Year 2022 Was at pagodas to pick up An order of pepper Steak Some time ago.... Once I had gotten home that evening after work and tired I noticed that they only put in 3 pieces of mystery meat very small strips that did not taste like steak at all and was very tough and chewy. I called to explain about the issue was told to bring in and the slim asian woman who works there and answers the phone was yelling and asked why I ate some of the food? I let her know that's what I ordered the food for in a nice tone and how else would I have known unless I attempted to eat the food? After work people are hungry and they eat There's no reason to lie about what we pay for To have pagodas NOT put in the proper amount of meat that they should as well as the right type of meat not something that is similar or bogus tasting because it didn't taste like steak..... I was given back just a few dollars of my purchase amount and spoken to very DISRESPECTFULLY AND YELLED AT!!! An adult who spoke with respect and paid for a whole dinner and not just 3 pieces of whatever bogus chewy supposed to be meat that was!!!! I only asked that they replace the proper amount of meat like any other restaurant in a nice way.......no wonder sometime ago they received a low rating from the state......now this was proof No more business with disrespectful pagodas employees or their fake steak!!!!! Not worth the headache or sickness or disrespect especially when they are in the wrong wrong wrong.... No.....not having it!!!! There are other nearby restaurants who have employees who are more respectful the food is real and taste good and better prices right there in Davis lake shopping center golden express and the one next to that one called lotus Play at...

Placed what I thought was a very simple order (beef & broccoli, chicken fried rice, and chicken with cashew nuts). It’s our usual order at any Chinese restaurant and has never been a problem. Until now? Everyone already waiting when I walked in got their order and left. Heard phone orders being taken, told “ten minutes,” and watched two of them come in and pick up their order as I still waited. Was told mine would be “a few more minutes.” Two other customers came in, ordered and got their food. Again I was told “a few more minutes.” All told, I waited about 30 minutes for the food. Haven’t even tasted it yet, but it’s already not worth what I paid for it. When I asked what was taking so long, I was told there was only one person in the kitchen. A Saturday night and no customers in sight, then against my better judgment, I walked in The place is rundown and unkempt but what got me was when I ordered a small box of chicken fried rice she winked at the man as he got up to go and prepare my food!
