I ordered a pizza this afternoon around 4pm for delivery, the app said it would be 30-45 minutes for delivery. By 5:45...still no pizza, but the app said it had been delivered by Ashley. I called the location and told them what was happening. I was placed on hold twice, then the line disconnected. I called back and was told my order would be made again and sent out for delivery but it would be about 45 minutes to an hour. I said I would come pick it up as to not wait any longer (remember, I ordered this pizza at 4pm, but now it was 6pm). At 6:30 I arrived at the location for pick up, the employee at the register seemed to remember by name when I told her so I'm guess she is who I spoke with on the phone. She gave me my order to which I asked for one extra garlic sauce, to which she responded it would be .53 cents. I told her never mind, took my pizza and left. As I've thought about this entire experience on my drive home, I'm now totally baffled that she would charge me .53 cents for an extra garlic sauce AFTER I paid for pizza, delivery and tipped the driver during my online order, for a pizza that never arrived. Instead of charging me .53 for the sauce I feel fully entitled to a FULL refund...why should I have to pay for garlic plus tip and a delivery fee for a service I never received?! Just last week, I ordered from this same location for delivery. The driver arrived at my house, set my pizza on the front step and then walked away, never ringing the doorbell. 45 minutes later my husband stepped outside to take out trash only to find a cold pizza just sitting there on the ground. Read morePapa John's pizza is pretty much the same no matter which store you get it from. However, I will never order from this location again. My last several orders have not been great, but today takes the cake.
Delivery took almost 3 times longer than expected (I ordered online and it estimated 31 minutes, even though it took an hour and a half to get to me). Granted, if the system would have said 90 minutes as the estimate, I could at least have been aware to wait longer or cancel my order, but that wasn't the case.
Also, this store NEVER gets my order right. Whether it's missing a side, drinks, or the extra dipping sauces I order, I've never gotten exactly what I ordered.
Today's order was also missing stuff, so I chased after the delivery driver in my driveway in hopes of getting his attention, and he either ignored me or didn't hear me. He drove off without even looking back at me.
I tried calling them, using the phone prompt option to speak to a manager. No one picked up the phone.
After waiting for 20 more minutes on hold, I figured I could drive over there in less than 5 minutes, although that kinda defeats the purpose of paying extra for delivery in the first place.
When I got there, the folks were rude and acted like I was a bother to them. There was one other person waiting, and he was visibly frustrated by his experience too. They made me wait another 10 minutes before someone came to the counter to speak to me.
No resolution was offered to correct my order or make up for their mistake, so I asked for a full refund. Eventually, they issued the refund and wasted a huge chunk of my day, thus (imho) being well deserving of this...

I’ve attached a picture of a pizza that was delivered, that had clearly been dropped prior to the delivery. My friend, who placed the order, called to inform the store. She was put on hold by the manager, who never picked the phone back up to resolve the issue. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, we ended up driving to the store with the phone still on hold, since I live just a few minutes from the location. The manager just so happened to be sitting at the back of the store, which was not busy AT ALL. Not one person took accountability…and even asked if we had the pizza door dashed, which we did not. Not one time did the manager apologize or offer a resolution. We were simply asked if we wanted the pizza remade or did we want a refund. I think there’s clearly more that could’ve been offered, given we had the pizza delivered, had to drive to the location to get the issue resolved, and had to wait 15+ minutes to have the pizza remade. We were given a refund only because we requested it and still have yet to receive an apology. I typically like to offer grace, especially considering the state of the restaurant industry and how most businesses are desperate for more workers.
