I came here last week but could not find parking. I drove around a few times, and no space or street parking opened up. There is a chick fil-a that is directly across the street. I could have parked and walked over, but I thought it to be inconvenient.
Today, Friday, around 10 am. I got there just in time for the one spot that was available. I love the overall location. It's a much needed new coffee option for the area. No drive-through, but OK.
Upon walking in, lots of people have caught on to the work friendly spot and were there working, networking, and having conversations. It's a great place to work if you don't have conference calls or dont mind the background noise. Lots of chatter. There is outside seating, which is a plus.
I ordered the iced Chai with Almond milk and a pump of lavender, and my daughter tried the hibiscus berry lemonade. We chose the chocolate chip cookie and the tomato jam feta danish. Everything was delicious. The danish was super crispy. I didn't taste anything tomatoey, but I still enjoyed it and would get it again. I also downloaded the summit app and was able to get my scan for rewards. I also love that you can order ahead on the app. They have 2 spaces designated for 15 min pick up parking. Overall, I...
Read moreI had a great experience at Summit Coffee Highland Creek — very cozy place with super friendly staff! I forgot the guy’s name, and I believe the lady I spoke to was the manager. They officially close at 5 PM, but they kindly let me stay a bit longer, and even after closing, they took the time to chat with me for over 20 minutes. That’s something you don’t see every day — much appreciated!
For me, friendliness and atmosphere are the most important things in a coffee shop. Coffee is second — and here, it was quite good too! I asked for my espresso in a ceramic cup, but since I arrived around 3:30 and they stop serving in ceramic after 4:30, I got a to-go cup — not a big deal, just mentioning for context. The espresso itself was surprisingly good, especially coming from an automated machine — usually, I prefer specialty coffee shops with manual equipment, but this one did a nice job.
Overall, it’s a great spot to work from or to meet with someone for a chat. I really like the brand, the logo, the name — feels like the owners are hikers or outdoor lovers (just my guess!). Wishing the whole Summit Coffee team all the best — thanks for the...
Read moreGreat menu options for coffee, with a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Parking can be a pain at times, but once the area it's at is complete with building, that shouldn't be an issue. The only peeve is that their pastries are not available until usually around 9am, which is SUCH a freakin bummer!! For those of us commuting to Charlotte for work and stopping here for coffee in the mornings, it's inconvenient. Don't coffee and pastry go hand in hand while fighting traffic in the mornings?! 😒 Mornings are half fulfilled. Hopefully, the corporate coordinators who manage the delivery schedule figure...
