Have been here multiple times over the years and always enjoyed it as a quick lunch spot.

This was the first time I went with my partner and child. When the waitress took our order she seemed nice, but she never returned to our table. All the waitresses manning the floor asked every single table except ours if they needed refills or anything-- at least two times while we were there.

With the exception of our table, though we had placed our cups on the edge open and were literally right next to where they enter and exit kitchen.

The only reason I can think of was that we are very obviously a lgbt couple. It is very interesting going to restaurant when you present straight and having a totally different experience. I was really sad because even my 7 year old was perplexed why every single table got checked on but ours, and was disappointed when no one would refill her water.

I did ask once to refill her water and the lady rolled her eyes at me.

There was one waitress who appeared to be pregnant who was mostly manning the register and counter. She was the only one who was genuinely kind, and helped us refill all three of our empty drinks at the register when paying.

Very disappointed as we wanted to treat our child to an after doctor appt treat with a fun atmosphere. Don't go if you have visible tattoos or are a lgbt couple. I always tip 20%+ but I guess they thought my money was rainbow. If you wanted to be treated well walk down to...

WOW! We were in the shopping center and normally go to Jenni’s for sweets but we decided to go into this place and get some Coke floats. NEVER AGAIN. From the moment we walked in we could feel the irritation from both of the servers. I asked if we could place a to go drink order and was met with a dirty look. I should’ve walked out and took my business elsewhere but against my best judgement we stayed. One of my daughters felt so uncomfortable that she went outside to wait. Between the girls working and the tables staring, it was a lot. Maybe this place isn’t used to a little bit of diversity. A Mexican mom, brown kid, white kid and African American baby was probably too much for this crowd. Staring is rude and being unkind is rude. On the way out one of our coke floats fell out of the cup holder in the stroller and made a huge mess. I felt awful but can’t help but think it was karma for the experience we had. I understand having a bad day and not giving the best service but this was not that. Haven’t felt that uncomfortable in a very long time. Thank you Park Road Soda Shoppe staff and guests for letting me know I’m not...

My fiancée and I went to the soda shoppe recently. We were completely disappointed. I would like to state that originally the servers were attentive in obtaining our drinks and order. Additionally, there were other guests. However, it was quite an upset when two other sets of guests after us got their orders first. We were not checked upon during our time there nor did the waitresses show an interest in mediating the issue. Upon notifying the waitresses that we had yet to obtain our order 30 minutes, they did not seem recognize an order was placed at all. The waitress that completed the order had some recognition of it but could not relay how long it would take. Neither of them seem apologetic or taking ownership of the situation. I would not go again, and do not recommend going to there for a family environment. Currently, we are at CO next door and already experiencing better service. I was hopeful that we would originally find a nice mom and pop close...

These businesses survive because they bring people back to a different time. The truth is that the food is never that special, just a warmed up hotdog and a milkshake. You know, the food you get at the drive in movie concession area, or at the fair, or at an ice cream shop, or [insert southern place here] It's the decor that always gives it a pass, take that away and I honestly wonder if anyone would show. Definitely an over 50 crowd here during weekday lunch, not sure If it's the diner theme or the 7 Christian messages placed around the inside that brings in this market. After eating a forgetable hamburger, hotdog, fries and milkshake (I was hungry!) Cost about $18 with tip, save your money and just grab some Cookout for $6 bucks, or better yet, head to Zack's.

In park road shopping complex by teeter. I have to say I was excited to go in by their decor. Simple, diner kinda decor & menu. I ordered the ice cream float & he got a cheeseburger with a side of hot mashed potatoes which is definately worth a try. He wasn't particularly fond of the cheeseburger tho. It was over a very expected kinda food experience & I think I might visit if I'm passing the but nothing to specially go for. I was put off by the cleaning standards. Dirty restaurant floor, didn't need to be squishing food under the table under my feet and rr could use some much needed attn. Servers were nice.

Typical, old-fashioned soda shoppe with simple food (burgers, grilled cheese, fries, ice cream sundaes etc) but definitely not for folks on a low calorie or low fat diet. Staff were very friendly though the two waitresses were having to spend a lot of time ringing up takeout orders while also covering their tables. My only complaint was the use of styrofoam cups, styrofoam plates, and plastic utensils for dine-in customers. I would have really liked an actual plate and fork, both for comfort and because I hate the wastefulness of single-use plastics.
