Party loco's Tacos — Restaurant in Charlotte

I'd had really high hopes in checking this place out, based on the previous high ratings and reviews. I got the Nachos Surpreme and a steak burrito. The nachos (looks amazing in the pic, don't they???) were decent -- nothing to really write home about -- and I wasn't too much feeling the burrito. Tasted surprisingly bland. Also, customer service was meh -- the folks there don't seem to be the friendliest bunch! I even had to ask what my total was when he took my card for the payment, and then he gave it back without any sort of official conclusion to the transaction (no "thank you," "please sign here," "here's your receipt," "would you like a receipt," etc.). I had to ask him a few times to confirm what the amount had been, making a mental note to confirm it on my bank statement later. Not ideal. Granted, I normally don't necessarily "need" a receipt, but some sort of visual indication and confirmation of the price -- or at the very least, his voluntary verbal confirmation, to where I wouldn't have to ask -- would've been nice!!

Overall, not the greatest experience or journey worth driving cross-town for (I'd searched for "the best Mexican food in Charlotte", and this was one with seemingly the highest ratings that came up, so I took a chance). Next time, I'll just stick to somewhere closer to home or go...

Oh brother the negative reviews kill me. Customer service? What do you expect? It’s a trailer at a gas station that makes pretty amazing tacos. I have never had a bad meal or bad service. They are nice folks that welcome your business.

I am from Arizona and fly to Mexico and South America a lot. I eat plenty of this type food and this is authentic. They do a really good job.

If you think it’s bland then maybe you should check out how much salt Chipotle and Taco Bell put in their food. They puts tons of salt in their food.

This taco truck is quite literally one of my favorite places to get tacos in Charlotte. When Iived in lower South End, I could drive a few minutes up the road to grab some tacos from them & it would be the best quick lunch.

Not only were they well priced, the service was swift and pretty easy to order even if you don't speak great spanish or anything.

You can also call in an order and pick up pretty fast, all while waiting in the comfort of your car.

Parking isn't great, but that's to be expected from a taco truck. All I can tell you, is if you want a solid taco experience, give this...
