This is one of the nicest places I've ever been let down by. If it wasn't intending to be a college bar, then I guess it was an accident. We came to shoot pool, and 2 of the 5 tables had ping pong on top which was cool in theory ... HOWEVER 2 of the remaining 3 tables were SEVERELY off level to the point that all of the balls collected along 1 side of the table along the rail cushions. When we asked a staff member if they could be straightened out, her response was "I wouldn't know anything about it". What a shame, with them being high quality diamond Tables. Yes they had 2 diamond Tables covered with ping pong table tops. 2 tables crooked. And 1 functioning table. Fun Fact: A diamond table costs anywhere from $5-$10k with proper cloth. There was pretty much nowhere to set your drinks. It just seemed to be a bunch of clueless kids running around touching everything and then leaving. No wonder the bouncers were all seemingly on edge. They had to act like glorified babysitters. Oh, and 3 out of 3 non working hand dryers in the bathroom. So now you have a bunch of college kids touching ping pong paddles, pool cues, and everything else...with no way to dry their hands. Such a weird vibe.

Would give 0 out of 5 if possible. I came in, went to the bathroom, and walked around the bar looking for my friends. Checked outside, didn’t find them. Came back in, saw a speed bag and gave it a tiny little jab. A fellow patron standing nearby got angry about that and decided to shove me and start cussing me out. While I was trying to deescalate the situation (i.e. telling him to calm down), one of the bouncers grabbed me by the neck from behind, dragged me along the floor, and threw me out. Didn’t even answer when I asked repeatedly what was going on or why he was doing that. I was there for maybe 5 minutes total and was just looking for where my friends ran off to. Oh, and when I tried to come back in, the same bouncer chased me around and tackled me to the ground outside in the gravel. With his arm around my neck, he told me to stop struggling, but the only thing I was doing was getting my arms beneath the own around my neck. I to him I wasn’t; I was just doing that because I was having trouble breathing. Was like that for about a full minute until the other bouncer said “dude, people are watching,” before he finally let me go.

Haven't been here in a while. It's a bigger bar with games and plenty of seating. There are multiple small rooms with different games and seating options. It's located in the south end, so parking can be a hassle. We didn't need to pay to get in, but they do have bouncers at the door checking IDs. This is definitely a spot to go if you want to play a few games, lounge, or just sit at the bar and drink. They have multiple TVs, so they do play the games. Overall, it's not a bad place to go and chill and catch up with friends. Nothing too different or spectacular with this place, though. Normal bar scene and crowd. I wouldn't mind coming again if in the area.

UPDATE: Called and left a message and have yet to hear from anyone. No response to my review from the manager or owner. It’s been a week... I see they only value their money...

The first and last time I ever go here.

My girlfriends asked me to be their designated driver. We head over to Slate thinking I would be able to eat while they drank since I’m expecting. Unfortunately the bartender tells us there’s no food being served but we can go next door to American Pub. We ask one of the security guards if we would be able to leave and come back after food since my girlfriends’ tabs were still open at the bar— he said no problem. We come back an hour and some change later. They tell us we have to get back on the link, which is now running down to the light rail. I asked why we had to wait on line if we were told we could come back in without a problem. Then, the security guard that told us we can come back said to go thru the ramp. My girlfriends went inside while I waited outside with the leftovers. After waiting over 15 minutes for them to close out, I go to the ramp and ask NATHANIEL if I could go inside and check on my girls because they were supposed to be closing out and it’s been longer than usual. He says I can’t bring my food inside and I can put it on a patio table. Now anyone in their right mind isn’t going to put food on a table unattended and come back outside and pick it up if it’s unsupervised, therefore I asked him if he would be willing to watch the food. Then he repeats I can put it on the table, so I repeat my question. He asks me how long I’m going be and I tell him I’m not sure since I don’t know what they’re doing or where they are inside. He then accuses me of having an attitude and I say “excuse me?”. He then proceeds to tell me there’s no reason for me to have an attitude. I explain to him I wasn’t being rude or having an attitude, but if it would be an issue I’ll put the food in the car and come back. I walk all the way around the block, put my food away in my car, walk past him as I nodded at him to go up the ramp. Shortly thereafter, he bum rushes and throws me back...

You’re not protecting the White House. Relax! You saw me on four different occasions, sober as hell and all I’m trying to do is keep my friends safe. I explained to him I’m pregnant and not to put hands on me multiple times and he kept putting his hands me and then accused me of putting hands on him.... I’m 5ft... how am I gonna put hands on 6 ft tall security guard.... The security guard that said we can come back and go up the ramp.... too bad I didn’t get your name but SHAME ON YOU for not intervening. I looked you in the face and asked you multiple times if we could come back. As your coworker had his hands on me I asked to speak to you multiple times and you didn’t so I had to ask for police officers’ help. Nathaniel— congratulations on making a pregnant woman throw up incessantly... over what??? But no... really over what? I have to go to urgent care to make sure you didn’t make me miscarry because I am so much pain... and if you did I’m pressing charges for putting hands on a woman of small stature who’s half your size and 1/4 of your weight. Learn how to deal with people of different backgrounds and don’t accuse people of having an attitude. You don’t know me to accuse me of having an attitude, let alone that might cause the opposite effect of what you’re trying to incur. Also learn when to use your body weight.

I really hope to hear from the club owner and/or high management regarding this matter. I intend on filing a report to BBB because everything about today was unnecessary and ruined such a...
