My husband and I have been to so many breweries around the world, and this one really stood out as amazing! We stopped in Charlotte on our drive back to Rhode Island as we had been on a "babymoon". This was one of the breweries that we stopped at and I am so glad that we did. The vibes in the brewery were awesome. The beer selection was extremely plentiful. Though I couldn't taste the beer because I am pregnant, my husband said it was some of the best beer that he's ever had (and I can attest that it smelled incredible). The service was AMAZING. I feel badly that I can't remember our bartender's name, because was so incredible. He was so kind, hospitable, and informative and he definitely escalated the experience and is part of the reason that we loved this place so much. I know he's been working there since February (and if it's helpful to management, we visited on Sat, June 24 between 2:30pm-4:00pm). He was so great and made us feel so comfortable (my husband was so bummed that we had to leave as he loved the beer and also genuinely enjoyed talking to him). We will definitely be recommending this brewery to everyone who we know in North Carolina, and hope to return in the future (especially when I can actually drink the beer!). Definitely...

Southern Strain is a beautiful, open, and relaxing spot my boyfriend and I love to visit as a night cap before we head home! Our bartender Jordan absolutely made our night and was such a joy to our evening that was soured before we arrived. Another location in Charlotte was rude and made terrible drinks, but Jordan’s kind disposition really made all the difference for us when we arrived.
