Mixed on this place. One half of this place was excellent. Super friendly and fast service for my friends and myself. My best friend was even able to charge my phone for me so I'd be able to order an Uber for later. Takes a turn when I went to the other side. My best friends cousin was supposed to be getting her cards read to her by a gentleman that was reading tarot cards. When she wasn't back, I went over to the right side of the bar to check on her. There were two ladies ahead of her, sitting with the guy so she was sitting at the bar waiting, so I joined her. When I walked over two her, there was some leftover food sitting on the bar. It looked as if it had been sitting for a while. Not covered but looked as if it was ready to be discarded, so I stood at the bar while she sat. This went on for at least 20 minutes or so. The food wasn't picked up, nor did anyone ask if I needed anything. An additional 5min went on and all of a sudden, two ladies told me, I was in their spot and that was their food. I did let them know it was rude how they approached me. I did move over as much as I could, and one lady hops on the stool, bumping me in the process...on purpose. And again, I mentioned how rude she was being. At this time, a blonde, female bartender appears out of nowhere bc I'd literally stood there over 20mins and she wasn't there at all and all of sudden appears and tells me, I'm the problem and I'm in the other people's way. I did mention to her that I'd been standing there for a certain time, and not a single sould bothered to ask if I needed anything. Clearly, the other ladies were either regulars or of a certain privilege, and my needs weren't of a matter. This is the 1st bad review that I've ever written on any establishment. It was one business but CLEARLY two different types of service on each side.
To the other side, thanks for the hospitality and excellent service to myself...

My partner and I originally sat at the bar when we got there and ordered The Workman’s Friend cocktails to sip on. Felt kind of rushed by the bartender but he was still courteous. Our drinks were simple and smooth with bits of fresh ginger at the bottom of the glass. We were chilly so we moved to the back near the fireplace to order our entrees.
My partner ordered the burger which is filling especially if you get the fries (chips) as a side. I appreciated the heartiness and freshness of the fries when they came out. I settled for the Irish Stew because I was looking for something to warm me up; but when it arrived it was gloopy and underwhelming. I could count the chucks of beef and slices of carrots in the stew. The bread was a little hard; almost as if it were sitting on the platter well before the stew was done heating up. In my opinion, the stew would taste much better if it were thinned out a little and allowed to simmer longer to cut the flour taste. However, it’s great to know that the stew is made from scratch or seems as such based on its consistency. After we ordered, our waiter came over to introduce himself and mentioned that he was taking over for another waitress. He was attentive and made sure that our meal was to our liking. All in all, I’d go back to try other menu items. The party that was seated next to us enjoyed the Tomato soup and grilled cheese. Can’t ever go wrong with that so I think that will be my...
Read moreThis is an Irish pub as the name suggests. Really liked the ambience. Our server Eli (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was soo courteous and sweet. Ordered our drinks tea and 2 honey badgers for cocktails and really liked it. Ordered the cauliflower pate for app and it was a bit sweet-ish to a point that he couldn't taste his tea nor could I taste my cocktail. I don't know how better to explain this - overpowering flavors. Ordered another cocktail with the raspberry and he enjoyed it. For mains he ordered the lamb and beef Shepard's pie topped with mashed potatoes which was good. Really good. I ordered the chicken curry soup as soup of the day and it was delightful. Heere are the issues I faced which were the put offs - 1.the server wasn't really sure and didn't have the chef to ask if the soup has any seafood in it 2. Chicken soup that came out with sliced bread was cold. The server politely took it back, heated it up and brought it out and it was warm - mostly cold again. I didn't send it back. 3. This is embarrassing but the bread that came with soup, even tho came sliced but not to the end - I literally had to tear it apart as I couldn't slice it to the end with the knife. Now, im not sure if I was to use my hand or was it the knife or was it the bread .. either ways it tasted good. I have to say I highly suggest you try the beef lamb shepards pie and the chicken curry soup. Tasted good. Very clean rr....
