Awesome salads and sides. Best lunch in town. Review update: Still a fan. I eat here for lunch almost every day. Consistent goodness! Another year later and the place is still awesome! How many places can you eat at on a daily basis and get such consistency! Yet another year of awesome consistency and value. Try the chicken salad! Ive never eaten at a restaurant that is so consistent. Here we are in March 2020 - same great food.

No lie, I would not be sad for a second if ALL the other major and minor subs and sandwich chains in the world closed down tomorrow and Steak n Hoagie took over all of their locations! I mean it. This place is awesome and the prices make every other place seem like you're getting ripped off! Don't sleep on this place. Great food and great portions at the best prices!

We dined in my food was cold when I got it not to mention my chicken was hard first time for me but my mate frequents and get hoagies maybe we should of stuck to hoagies instead of trying the cooked food . Idk what they did wrong on my food but won't eat their cooked food again but will do hoagies next time unhappy cx for 28$

I'm a sub and hoagie fanatic, with fond memories of thick sandwiches stuffed with great meats and grilled veggies like the ones I got in NJ or NY in my youth. Fortunately, I found Steak 'n Hoagie Shop about five years ago, and I don't buy subs or hoagies anyplace else in Charlotte. I have seen this place for decades and never went in because I "judged tje book by its cover". However , I was pleasantly surprised with its cleanliness and the freshness and quality of the food.
