The Good Wurst Company — Restaurant in Charlotte

The WiFi was down so my online order wasn’t received by the facility. However the order was paid for online and deducted from my account. Instead of preparing the order, I was allowed to wait and think that it was being prepared when it wasn’t. I just happened to walk up to the counter to ask a question and that’s when I was told that my order wasnt started. I waited some more, then I was asked if I could just get a refund. I said it was already paid for and taken out of my account so the establishment would have to provide a refund, not me. I waited some more while my perishable groceries were sitting in the car. After 30-40 minutes total it was finally decided that the order should be prepared. I thought that would’ve been the most reasonable option when I first presented the issue. I was patient the entire ordeal because I understand that some circumstances are out of our control but not once did anyone apologize or even tell me welcome when I said thank you. Great customer service goes a long way, as I could’ve waited an hour and have positive feedback instead of negative. And to top it off I got home to find my spicy chicken sandwich had no toppings. Just scarce sauce, chicken, and a bun. Definitely not the usual. Thank goodness I’m not a combative or aggressive person because it could’ve went left with someone else. My husband and I tried The Good Wurst last night for the first time and it will definitely not be our last. Thinking about trying them today for breakfast. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff makes sure their attention is FOR YOU and they make sure to recommend options to fit to your likings. First time I tried sauerkraut and a legit Bratwurst not just one that comes in a 6 pack from the grocery store, those Brats have NOTHING on this place. My husband and I are newer to new options when it comes to food and beer.. we’ve always stuck to the same ol’ but man aren’t we glad we tried new things here. No regrets on what we ordered and still so much to choose from.. It makes a difference when the staff knows what to suggest to their customers. It's one of the worst (Wurst) Reuben sandwiches I have ever tasted. Not only was the sandwich very small, but it didn't reflect the image of their Reuben on Google map. The sandwich was basic in size for the outrageous cost of almost $18.00. It WASN'T full of ingredients. It wasn't fresh, it wasn't quality, and it didnt have the ingredients promised with the fake images on their menu. This place will scam you with unrealistic prices for poor quality production that food lion could beat. The side portions are in a tiny cup, not even 2 or 3 small bits and your finished. 2 sandwiches and a drink landed us over $40 bucks. We are not happy with anything that was given to us. Rip off 100 percent and the kicker, have their menu items are no longer available. This place is a no go...
