If I could give 0 stars I would I'm typing this review from a hour from my incident at this restaurant and if your reading this you know who this is I'm glad you don't get me and my family out of character it's what you wanted and we didn't give it to you đđ, the way how this staffing treated me and my family today they will not hear the last of me . My father passed back in 2023 and he would take me out to a Mexican restaurant and till this day I still go out once and a while to get me a fixing of Mexican food. Me my daughter My brother stopped her by our local margaritas to get some food real quick. Our server seemed very nice until I started to send back food to the kitchen .. i order a kids meal with rice and beans a taco for my daughter .. my daughter did not want to eat the meal she took a bite out of it so I proceeded to tell my waiter if she could take it back because my daughter isn't gonna eat the meal , I then told her I would like to place my order a vegetarian quesadilla. The menu did not specify what was in the quesadilla I was expecting cheese and maybe onions and peppers which is okay when I received my meal I did not like what was in my quesadilla. It was a mixed vegetable blend which did not seem very appetizing to me .so I waved someone down to tell my server if she could just replace my quesadilla with just cheese just the quesadilla I'll eat the sides be mindful of that !the server then tells me she would still have to charge me for this meal and another quesadilla.. never heard that before .. I ask the server I didn't eat it yet and your still gonna charge me for a meal I didn't eat yet ? She proceeded to say " the quesadilla doesn't have the full ingredient on the menu so it isn't gonna disclose that on the menu " so if I had a allergy to something in the meal and wasn't made aware of it who's fault would it be ? .. I then ask the server to bring a manger over when she brings the manager over I tell him what's going on and then just tell him to comp the whole meal .. as me and my family are waiting I ask my brother to get the bill so we can leave as he asking for the bill the manager brings me another plate but I had already told him to forget about the meal .. I then tell him that I didn't want the meal anymore just forget about it cause I feel like I was causing to much of a problem sending the food back I just wanted to finish my drink and leave . My brother then speaks to the manger the manger says basically " I'm losing money because I'm throwing the food out which is now gonna be your problem and your gonna have to pay for the food your didn't eat " .. never in my many years of working in food service never have I ever heard of that .. after going back and forth with the sever about paying I was telling her I'm not paying for a meal I didnt eat and she wasn't gonna take it off .. so then they threaten to call the police which was no problem I would pay for my child's meal and everything else but not a meal I did not eat ! I called my mother to handle the situation.. we ended up leaving them with the right money owed and left .. they couldn't prove in black and white or have a policy on why they can't comp a meal I didn't eat but never have I ever hear of such thing they tried to tell my mother that I was lying about telling the manger about the meal but when I explained the story to my mother it sounded just as crazy . May God be with these people but they were making feel uncomfortable as they so called called the police on me and my family for not paying walking around me and looking at me like I'm some kind of thief I wanted to keep my compousre around my child because this isn't a normal thing you don't do to customers .. when we asked the manger to show us the policy he said " he doesn't have to show us anything " goes to say how they feel about there customers ... They tried to ban us but trust not a company of margaritas will be getting a dime...
   Read moreI went there today around 1:30pm. I entered the restaurant while on Facebook Live. I was greeted at the door and escorted to my seat. (All while still on Facebook live) I continued my video and the hostess (female of Spanish decent) brought my some chips and salsa. (All while still on Facebook live) During the video you could hear me thank the hostess for bringing the chips & salsa. I continued on the Facebook live for a total of 15 minutes and when I ended it I asked the hostess for a glass of water and her response "you were on the phone! in a nasty rude tone. After about 5 minutes of waiting (mind you there was only 1 other party seated in the entire restaurant besides me) for her to return with my water I walked to the bar and requested a glass on water. As I was walking back to my seat the hostess was finally on her way with the glass of water I had requested so I told her NO THANK YOU, you can take that back to wherever you got it from and she walked away. I asked another server if I could speak to the manager and he stated she was the manager so I asked to speak with the owner. A male of Spanish decent came to the table and I told him what had happened and while I was talking to him the female started talking loud and rude repeatedly saying "you were on your phone." It became so out of order then a male (Caucasian decent) started adding his comments telling me that I needed to go to my seat then started saying that he'd pay for my meal so that I could just leave. OH, I forgot to mention that I went LIVE again on FACEBOOK and recorded the entire situation. So while I was addressing the "Brad" the same female hostess says that I was harassing customers so I gave her a earfull as she continued to fold napkins. Another male of Spanish decent then came out and asked me what the problem was? Then as I was speaking he says "you were on your phone." So the question I have is is it not a part of a server/hostess job to only bring chips and salsa and not ask or take drink orders if the customer is on the phone?????? I asked for the owners information to contact directly about this matter and was told "he was back home in Mexico!" I exited the restaurant but not before engaging with the original hostess and asking her if there was ANYTHING else she wanted to say to me directly before I walked out because she still had something to say the entire time EVEN after the last person I talked to told her to go back to where she was. While sitting in the parking lot I witnessed the police pull up and I sat right there to see if they were gonna come up to my truck and say anything since I was still parked right at the door and they did not. I get so sick of folks thinking they can be in the customer service industry and not serve the customer. I left there and went to Chillis and asked to speak to the manager there to ask what was procedure there if customers enter the restaurant on their phones? He stated that the customer is seated and a drink order is taken immediately which gives the customer the notification that the server is READY to serve them.    Read moreFood/Drink:The rice tasted like Chinese fried rice without the pork. My drink was warm for some reason even though ice was in it, but I just had to stir it up. The drink was still good. Service: Our server was Lesly R. Her customer service was terrible. She seemed like she had an attitude from the jump. She rarely came to check on us. She didnât ask if we wanted more drinks even though I told her I would keep the menu for that. And we didnât have any napkins except for what was around the silverware. I asked for some and she gives me two napkinsđ Now this is where my biggest problem comes in. We had received our drink and then our food shortly after. A few sips were taken from the drink just to try it. As i'm trying to take my silverware out of my napkin I made a mistake and hit my cup and all my drink fell out onto the floor. She finally comes back around and she looked at the drink and looked at me and I said im sorry I made a mistake and spilled it. She then says ok and walks away and starts setting up another table. (it wasn't for anyone and it wasnt packed at all. It was only about 4-5 tables including us) . She comes back to clean it a couple minutes later and I asked if we can have another to replace the one that spilt and she said that I was going to have to pay for it. I thought that was crazy. So at the end I asked to speak to a manager. She brings one over and I tell her what happened and she said okaii we will take care of it for you and Lesly R turns and looks at her in confusion and then starts speaking spanish and the girl looks at her like âcome on nowđâ and then she pulled her away. Few moments later Lesly R bring another manager over. I explain again what happened and he was going to take care of it as well. She started speaking spanish to him and was trying to fight with him as well to charge me for an extra drink. She then tells him that half the drink was drunk before it spilled. I said no it was not. (which was true and then you could have comprised and gave it to us for 1/2 off even it that was the case). A few sips were taken and then our food came right after so no more was drunk after that.Then she explains that because the drinks are final sale we couldnât get the replacement for free. I said thatâs completely fine, I underestand that but my drink is soaked up in a mop right now that I barely go to drink. She keeps trying to fight me and the managers on it so I give up. I didnât have time to argue and escalate it for $6. She was acting like it was coming out of her pocketsđ€ Atmosphere: The place was actually nice, the music was a bit loud making it hard to conversate. Never going back...
