This place is so unorganized and the most disturbing food store I have ever encountered from inside details đ. You would never be able to tell just walking up to the counter. I worked here in sale phone rep for the season of Thanksgiving day and Christmas and New Year's. Then it was like 30 people staffed there every day slinging hams in the back. And they started migrating me to the front working the register, I was like ohbhell no! It was gross. They were filthy. They were drunk high and selling weed here amongst the employees. It was weird. So they wrote up the manager for hiring to many people yet for both holidays there were lines wrapped around the entire mall four 10 hours straight and this guy work seven days 12 hours a day. It was insane. However he quit. But he recommended me for the next general management position because i have over 10 years of management exper. So the lady interviewed me and told me to email my resume to them. Yet I was so hesitant. In between all of this drama their sending manager after manager to work here. Mean while they are complaining how the company is barely compensating them and working them like slaves. The last manager runs a store in Charlotte and was stalking me to hurry up and send my resume because she is tired of working two stores and all of the extra hours with no extra compensation. And she hated the other mangers laugh blah, blah blah. Then she was treating me crazy like not wanted to show me anything as far as training yet the manager that interviewed me said that she was the one to train me. None the less. She came in and threw out pretty much everything old papers from 10 years ago stacked to the ceiling. Old dirty broken chairs that we as sales reps had to sit in. Soup containers that the soup was made in that had moldy stuff stuck to them. Ahe poured bleach on the sandwich cutting board. It was all so discusting. They let flies land on the meat. They cut meat and do other chores with the same gloves. They dont wash the vegetables at all. Straight off the truck into the fridge and onto your sandwich guys. It was unbelievably grotesque. The bathroom stays discusting. Women not flushing the toilet leaving the unimaginable in there đĄ. They never mop the floors. There was so many employees that had uniforms on that look like they had not wash it in months in the back and upper management did not care. They dont wash their hands before making sandwiches guys I'm telling you. This was an experience that left me scarred for life. I am horrified...
Read moreThe food is on the pricey side, but I feel like the price is worth the ease of providing a large meal for family get togethers. I have only purchased food from the Honey Baked Ham Company twice, and I honestly wish I would've tried them sooner. The ham is delicious (love that brown sugar coating) and the sweet potato soufflé in particular is by far my favorite side dish. The chicken salad (for sandwiches) is pretty good, a little too much onion for my taste, but I'm glad they have options to buy individual meals along with the catering products they are known for. As a side note, I haven't ordered ahead, and when I went to the store the line was either quick or non-existent, so I can't speak to the holiday rush or poor experience with online orders people here...
Read moreThe food is always amazing and I don't expect this to be any different. I pre-ordered my turkey roasted and my ham. I had a confirmation number only to hear they were out of roasted turkey. I paid for my ham and side dish and came back for my roasted turkey per their request. They had a special of $3 off a roasted turkey when you bought a ham which I had to ask for three times and they had to bring a manager over to give it to me when I went back to buy my turkey. I realize that they are super busy during the holidays but at the time that a customer calls in to place an order and you provide them with a confirmation number that food should be set aside immediately so that you do not...
