I went with a group of friends one weekend to have some fun at Chuck E. Cheese's and it was one of the best experiences at a Chuck E. Cheese's I've ever had. I've definitely been to a few locations where I can definitely tell when the energy is off, but when I went in the place was immediately vibrant and inviting and the staff was absolutely wonderful to interact with as well they definitely made the experience just that much better. I want to give a special mention to an employee named Greylen they were exceptional to their commitment to making sure our group had a great time as they were constantly helping us and placed special attention to not only us, but to every other guest there and I wanted to make sure that this type of behavior didn't go unappreciated because people like him is what makes a place like Chuck E. Cheese's so magical. We ordered some cheese pizza and went to the salad bar and it was all very good and fresh! A lot better than I would've expected so I really commend the cooking staff for actually making the food taste decent. The games were all mostly fine and functional, again like I said before, I don't think we would've had as much as an enjoyable time if it weren't for Greylen because they were able to help us by fixing some games for us and being generally very pleasant to be around I hope you guys value his contributions. I will say the layout of the place makes it very empty as everything is so spread out leaving a lot of negative space which is not very pleasant to look at. The animatronics are also a very iconic part of Chuck E. Cheese and I can say with full confidence that they still hold up and still have the personality and design of the older versions of these characters which I very much prefer and I hope it stays that way as 2.0 rolls around. I will end this review by saying that going into it myself and my friend group were going into the place kind of ironically to just experience Chuck E. Cheese again like the old days and weren't really expecting much considering that its a Chuck E. Cheese's and we all had this preconceived notion of what the experience would be like, but to my absolute surprise it was so much better than I could've ever anticipated. The staff, atmosphere, and energy of the entire location was just an overall very enjoyable experience (plus the food actually wasn't half bad) I would very much say that if you're a parent or just anyone looking to have a good time with your friends you should definitely try to visit this specific location in Charlotte because it has everything you could ever want in a...
Read moreI recently had the life-changing experience of witnessing Chuck E. Cheese himself belting out the timeless classic "U Can't Touch This." Let me tell you, folks, it was nothing short of a musical odyssey that left me emotionally wrecked, in the best possible way.
As I entered the hallowed cheese-scented halls of Chuck E. Cheese, I never expected to witness such a transcendent performance. The animatronic Chuck E. Cheese band took their game to the next level, and when those golden curtains opened, revealing Chuck E. in all his glory, I felt a mix of excitement and confusion. But when the first beats of MC Hammer's anthem dropped, something magical happened.
Chuck E. Cheese, with his robotic moves and furry charisma, channeled the spirit of MC Hammer like I've never seen before. The sheer absurdity of a giant mouse singing "U Can't Touch This" was enough to make me question the very fabric of reality. Was I in a parallel universe where rodents had taken over the music industry? Maybe. Did I care? Not in the slightest.
The spectacle brought tears to my eyes, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. The emotional rollercoaster of seeing Chuck E. Cheese break it down to "U Can't Touch This" was overwhelming. I laughed, I cried, and at one point, I might have even started a slow clap that nobody joined.
The juxtaposition of the classic '90s hip-hop anthem and a pizza-loving animatronic mouse was oddly poetic. Chuck E. Cheese delivered a performance that transcended the boundaries of time, space, and good taste. It's a memory that will forever be etched in my soul, right next to the memories of questionable pizza and skee-ball victories.
In conclusion, if you find yourself at Chuck E. Cheese and have the opportunity to witness Chuck E. himself dropping some MC Hammer moves, don't hesitate. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about entertainment and the proper use of animatronics. Truly, "U Can't Touch This" at Chuck E. Cheese is a masterpiece of the absurd, and I, for one, am...
Read moreAt 1st we were little disappointed that we could only schedule our Party for 8pm. However that ended up being the best time to go, because other guests slowly started clearing out & the entire building went from crazy, to calm.
We had a party for my 8 year old, a lot of parents & kids didn't show up, however Olivia (our Party Host for the evening) made us feel like we were the only one's there!
Olivia was very patient with me since we didn't know the menu, very attentive to my guests, she checked on me (the overwhelmed parent) continuously, & she made EVERYTHING run smooth!
I told them, she needs a raise! A promotion or something! Her energy was awesome! She made my scared little ones feel comfortable enough to go on stage with the Muppets & meet Chuck e Cheese!
We're definitely going here again for another party in January!
Also the place was cleaned, the machines let you know if they were broken or out of order. If the tickets ran out, it'll tell you on screen how many tickets your owed.
No more Chuck e Cheese coins, its on a swipe card now. Similar to Dave & Busters!
I specifically chose this location because it was clean last time we visited. I felt Concord was in a very busy location. & I felt the same about the Albemarle Rd. Location.
However this location was packed as well.
One thing to improve on, two people need to be at the door at high traffic times.
I only wanted to go in & check to see if my table was ready, but it took 15mins to get past the door girl who checks people in. She's the only one who can check your stamp on the way out, & stamp you on the way in.
& because she's so overwhelmed, a child went out with the wrong parents.
The gentleman asked me if it was my child & I told him no. So please please, get extra help at the front door! This will make entering & exiting...
