I’m dumbfounded by how good this place is! I discovered it as I tried but failed to check out their next door neighbor Thanh-Huong (they were closed). I am glad I had a chance to check this place out! I’m a Bahn Mi noob so take it for what it’s worth... BUT THIS IS THE BEST BAHN MI I HAVE TRIED TO DATE (check my photos). I got the Grilled Pork Bahn Mi which was recommended to me. $4.50 for mouth watering flavorful pork. I added some of their chili sauce for an extra kick. The broth had a good flavor, though it was a bit on the mild side compared to some of the more robust pho I’ve enjoyed over the years. The quality of the flank steak and the fresh accompaniments were solid, even if the overall experience wasn’t particularly remarkable.
That said, it was satisfying enough that I’d definitely consider giving it another try. It might be a great choice for someone who prefers a more subtle flavor profile...
