This was one of the worst food/service experiences I have ever had. I went on a Saturday evening, but there were no customers at the Village Juice aside from me. I asked the cashier which salad she recommended, and she said the Kale and Squash (which is essentially kale, squash and avocado). I order the salad, and when she gives it to me, it feels very lightweight and empty. I take it back to my table to open it up, and there's no avocado! I take the salad back to the same person to tell her, and she snottily informs me they have no ripe avocados and therefore she couldn't put any in. I say, that was half the reason I got the salad and don't understand why she didn't tell me (AND why on earth she would recommend a salad they didn't have the ingredients for). She says rudely "what do you want me to do about it", and I'm like I don't know, maybe put like a second ingredient in the $11 salad? Long story short, I ask for Brussels sprouts, she puts maybe 3 in my salad, and the girl behind her working behind the window gives me the middle finger. I walk away with my bowl feeling angry and cheated, and clearly no one there cares in the slightest. Their website gives no obvious way to contact them. My recommendation? Avoid this place at all costs, it's a waste of money and horribly...

This was my first time here and I have to say that I am highly disappointed at the service. There were two people talking at the front counter and stocking up but not one acknowledged I was there or even said hello. I asked a couple of questions about some of the items on the menu and I got straight yes or no answers. Nothing helpful in the least. I think the girl was rude and on top of that, when I ordered the Beyond Burger, she asked for my number to text me when it was ready. I never received a text and as I'm sitting across from the counter working, I happened to look up wondering why it was taking so long and noticed my sandwich had been sitting on the counter over to the left. Not a text or a call out. She knew I was sitting here but never informed me my food was ready. I have no idea how long it was sitting there but now it's cold so I have to eat a cold lunch. I'm extremely disappointed in this place. You would think given the circumstances with other restaurants closing, the service would be much better. Especially not being busy at all. I won't be coming back here.

UPDATE on the food. The "Beyond Burger" was the worst I've ever had. It was hard, stale and cold. Not sure what if it even was a Beyond Burger at this point. So disappointed as I was looking forward to trying Village...

We were lucky enough to win an Instagram giveaway for a gift card here so we stopped by today to use it.

We got the Edie Bowl, a Coco-nut-butter bowl, and a basil, bacon, and tomato toast. Everything was really good.

I was surprised by the amount of kale in the Edie Bowl since it's a grain bowl. I expected it to be mostly quinoa with a little kale, but it was the opposite. It was very good though.

I loved the Coco-nut-butter bowl, but it seemed like they didn't blend it enough. There were huge chunks of ice in it still.

The basil, bacon, and tomato toast was our favorite (probably because it had bacon). The avocado was the perfect balance.

To be honest, we wouldn't usually come here. While we like everything juice bars offer, we prefer to eat unhealthy when we go out to eat!

I really wish they would use pagers like most of the other vendors in Optimist Hall do. It's not great to have to wait there for your food, especially because it's so hard to find a place to sit (which is usually what I do while I wait for my food).

It's not cheap (the toast was $10), but it is good. If you're trying to eat healthy and still have food that tastes good, this would be a good...

Food took forever, I’m not in a rush but they told me ten minutes and it was thirty. even though we were there in the early morning with barely any customers. But the worst part is how overpriced it is. The kids avocado toast was $6 and it was only HALF a slice….. (Pic included) I was expecting a full slice of bread come on….. The smoothies and juice are good but again everything is overpriced and with all the better options at optimist hall I wouldn’t order food from here again
