Worst drive-thru experience I've ever had. I've never been made to feel so dumb and so belittled in my entire life.
I went through the drive-thru on Thursday night at 8:15pm, everything is going smoothly, I get up to the window, and I pay. The girl at the window hands me the receipt and the two large drinks. She closes the window and I am sitting there waiting for the food to come out. As I'm sitting there, I realize that I don't have my credit card. Hmm, maybe I dropped it? I look all over my front seat, I open my door and look at the ground to see if I dropped it, etc.
The girl hands me my food and I tell her that I think she might not have handed back my credit card. As soon as the words were out of my mouth, she gets extremely rude and starts saying how she's not allowed to hold onto the cards so there is absolutely no way that she has it and that she gave it back to me. I continue looking through my car as she is YELLING to her coworkers that I am accusing her of stealing my credit card over and over. Mind you, never did I once say she stole my credit card! I told her that I don't think it was passed back to me!
This goes on for a minute where she is talking to her coworkers about me and how I'm accusing her of stealing my credit card. Eventually, who I assume was a manager, came over to the window to see what was going on. And you know what? He did absolutely nothing. The girl is still freaking out, even more so because I haven't moved from the window. I tried multiple times to calmly tell her I was not accusing her.
One of her coworkers who had been standing a few feet behind her walks over to the window, pulls the credit card OUT OF THE CREDIT CARD MACHINE and hands it to me. I say "thank you, I told you that you never handed it back to me. I wasn't saying you stole it." and she SLAMS THE WINDOW in my face. The manager, who was still standing there (and still doing nothing) opened the window and did say "sorry" but by that point I was livid at how I was treated.
I'm not saying the customer is always right, because let's face it, I've worked in retail and the food industry and know for a fact that the customer is not always right. But you should never make your customers feel belittled and dumb. I will never be returning to this location, and I will think twice before every going to a Wendy's ever again because I do not want to support a company that hires people that are blatantly rude and arrogant.
Wendy's on Eastway, you need to reconsider who you hire and how your employees treat your customers. You supposedly value customer loyalty, but to me, that seems like a...
Read moreI visited this location Tuesday 5/9/17 during my lunch, and had a horrible experience. It is the Wendy's on Eastway Dr. This was a drive-thru order. I ordered a spicy chicken Caesar salad/half-size. I got back to work, ate half of the salad when I noticed a ladybug at the bottom of my salad! Needless to say I got sick right away because I don't know if I had eaten anymore that could've been in the salad that I didn't see. I had 4 co-workers that saw the bug in my salad as well. I tried to contact this location and speak to a manager, wasn't able to get anyone on the phone that wanted to deal with this and was put on hold several times. I provided feedback via the main Wendy's website, didn't hear anything back. Contacted the main corporate number and wasn't able to get anyone on the phone. I messaged on their main FB page and after a day their response was " Stephanie, we are so disappointed to see this! Thank you for providing the location where this occurred. What is your phone number so we can have management get in touch with you to make this right? Thank you!" So I provided my contact information. Another day goes by and their next response was "Thank you for that. The management team for this location will be in touch with you to make this right. Have a great day!" Guess what? No one contacted me! Isn't that a surprise?! I definitely will not be back to that location, and probably will not have any salads from Wendy's or any salads for a while. How unprofessional this company is, not wanting to make this right! I know it could've been worse, like a bat or a roach in the salad....a ladybug is a bug and shouldn't have been in my food period! Be aware of what could be in your food, especially...
Read moreA new day here and no hot sauce for chili. No crème soda. They are constantly out of major items. This time I got 9 spicy nuggets and one regular nugget as a 10 piece. They were cold. It’s like they didn’t want to make any more nuggets. I paid for fresh food and that’s what I expect as a customer. I didn’t know I had to plead for freshness. As one customer said on these reviews I don’t know why this location is still open. I won’t be back and I’ll spread the word as well. They take your money and give you sub par food. My order came to damn near 12 dollars and some things I could not get due to them not having them.workers are at the tables smootchin. Like get a room.
No chili, no nuggets, no ketchup, spoons or salt for fries or napkins. Burger not fresh and not how I ordered it. Fries not fresh. Basically hey we gonna give you what we want you to have. I can understand substituting certain items but even those items must be fresh and made to order folks. Then my order was for dine in. Definitely not good. They said they are waiting for the truck with the supplies. Whom ever is their person in charge of ordering needs a new job. Hire me to do the ordering. Wouldn’t be out of anything. Oh and this is supposed to be a medium. I don’t think so. Take a look below. With all the terrible reviews especially with the rubber band in the food, im calling corporate and higher if I have to. This makes no sense. Shut down or hire competent employees. That goes for...
