I am accustomed to the drivethru lines being wrapped around the building and the service being mediocre but today i decided to go inside since the drive-thru was literally out of the parking lot and it appeared that no one was inside. Well, what I experienced definitely gives me pause for the future.
99% of the workers, even in the kitchen area, didn't have a mask over their mouths or even nose. The mask was on but around the chin. Most did have on gloves thank God but the cashier taking money then turns around with the same gloves and bags your food from the window.
The frontline workers seemed to have no sense of urgency and in most cases held conversations with each other as clients waited. The young lady on the register was a bit unorganized and seemed to have challenge handling both register and food order bagging and honestly should have probably had some help. It seemed a bit chaotic in there!
I watched my food sit in the window for what seemed to be like 15 mins and when I asked the cashier if it was my food sitting there, she seemed a bit bewildered but eventually she bagged it and called out my number and yes, it was the same boxes that sat there 15 mins before she thought to bag it.🙄🙄
Service was definitely lacking and urgeny had left the building but more importantly not following health protocols with face coverings was really a problem for me.

Read moreI’ve had multiple bad experiences at this particular Zaxby’s and this last one was the final straw.
I was attempting to pick up food via the drive through and witnessed the employee at the window try to give me food that had been returned by the driver in front of me. That means that driver opened the box, looked at the food while in his vehicle then returned it after realizing it was not what they ordered.
I don’t work in the fast food industry but even I know that the correct protocol would have been to discard of that order and remake it instead of giving it to another customer after it was in someone else’s vehicle.
Once I got to the window I observed the bag that was handed to the previous customer sitting next to the window. Before handing the employee my credit card, I asked if that was my food sitting there by the window. She nonchalantly replied, “I don’t know.” To which I responded “Can you Check?” She checked and said it was not my order. So you could imagine my surprise when she handed me the exact same bag after processing my payment. When I questioned her, she responded that ‘someone told her it wasn’t the same order but they were mistaken.’ I was able to get a refund right then and there.
I will not be returning to this particular Zaxby’s and strongly believe that this location should be shutdown so that a better managed restaurant can be put...

The first time i ordered on line ahead of time, when i get there to pick at my order the cashier said it would be another 20 mins. I looked in the back it’s a bunch of kids running the place all of them look like there 16. instead of preparing my order they were goofing off and 30 mins later i get my order wrong. i called the manager assured me he would fix the order personally. it took him another 30 mins but he eventually got to me. The secound time i thought i’d give them a chance. i went through the drive through and the woman taking my order had a massive attitude, the guy at the window then handed me a bag didn’t say a single word to me.
