The fact I've never posted a review of this place is shameful. I eat there at least twice a week. This past week, as a bachelor with my wife out of town I ate there 6 out of 7 days. I think part of my reasoning for no review was that I don't want you there. I like walking in and not waiting, and I know it's so good, that if you knew, you'd be standing there in my way, and I don't want you in my way. I started as a wrap guy, but my wife always got the istanbowl. I hate that name. I hate the notion of bowls in general. Is it a salad? It just seems like a mess of food. Until I woke up hungry and pretty much robbed her leftovers. Now I'm all bowl, all the time. Bulger with hummus, LOTS of beets, cabbage, celery dip, chicken, and tzatziki, oh, and a little eggplant. I get three meals out of it, but that's because I eat like a bird which you wouldn't think possible due to my rotund presence, but it's true. I only clued my coworkers to it as a lunch option a month ago, and I work two blocks away. Stay away from this place. It's too good for you. There's a Wendy's around the corner. You like Wendy's. You LOVE Wendy's. Otto's rosemary fries are too complicated for you. The little containers of Baklava by the register taste like if honey were a singularity. Don't buy those. Stay safe. Stay Wendy's. Ignore THE FACT that every single employee of Otto's is genuinely concerned with making sure you're happy with your food. Ignore it. You are better off enjoying the dead-eyed stares of underpaid Wendy's employees. I spent plenty of years in fast food, I made Krystal Burgers for crying out loud, don't bother me at Otto's. It's my safe place and It's too...
Read moreOttos is amazing! Friendly and kind from the second I spoke with them. I ordered the bowl with beef and an extra side of falafel with bean, beet, coban salad and a side of pita. The bowl was huge! It actually ended up being 3 meals. The beef was almost 50% of the entire bowl that was full and heavy with food and flavor. I asked for my sauce on the side and the gentleman forgot to put it in my to go bag. When I went back to grab the sauce... he apologized, packed extra sauces, and gave me a free drink for my trouble. The Turkish drink I was given was a delicious orange soda. The tzatziki and tahini sauces maybe could have used a dash of salt... biggest issue with the restaurant! 🤣 Oh and the bowls are a biodegradable material as well! One of my main concerns with getting take out. Theres still a plastic lid and sauce cups but that's way better than most restaurants in the area. It's also a super clean and friendly environment. Everyone is practicing strict covid cleaning, mask wearing, abs glove policies. I cant wait to go back! I wish I was closer... I'd be healthier and save...
Read moreI stopped by this restaurant with some friends on Saturday evening, arriving just before closing time at 8:48 PM (unaware they closed at 9 PM). Despite the late hour, the staff greeted us warmly and took our order promptly. Their customer service was outstanding, and they remained friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. We were impressed that they served us at our table without any rush, even after closing time. It was only when they turned off the open sign and TVs that we realized they were closing, but that was our mistake for not noticing earlier. We decided to try their wraps, which turned out to be generously sized burritos, and they were absolutely delicious. We also ordered fries, which were crispy and flavorful. I'm sorry I didn't take more photos, but I've attached an image of the Alaturca wrap with chicken and fries. We also tried the Classic wrap with chicken, and it was just as tasty. If only this place were closer to where I live, I'd definitely be a...
