Yummy! This is an amazing spot for Mediterranean/Turkish food with a lovely area to dine outside on the deck/patio. There is also indoor seating which is nicely lit and decorated with beautiful artwork! My friend and I of course chose to enjoy the weather and sit outside! Upon sitting we had a few different employees help us with sitting, ordering drinks, and ordering food. I believe they may share responsibilities here which I love! We both ordered our favorite soda, ginger ale, and an appetizer of the hummus casserole to start! Our drinks came out promptly and our appetizer was around 5-10 minutes! The Hummus Casserole was baked with fresh tomatoes and a uniquely delicious kashar cheese! It was so much better than I expected. The hummus (bean dip like) part was warm, easy to spread, and topped with a melted, gooey, cheese. It honestly reminded me do a bean burrito type filling you dip their soft, fresh, bread into. You should definitely give this appetizer a try! I wasn't too hungry this night for anything large and I had been really wanting to try the chicken soup out! I knew I would like it so I ordered the bowl size! The soup came out hot and yummy! I loved the chunks of chicken and noodles along with all of the seasonings and spices! The soup also had a faint taste of lemon and perhaps a bit of yogurt (not too much) just enough to make it the slightest bit creamy! My friend ordered the Doner kebab sandwich which came thinly sliced, and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a side of yogurt sauce! The meat had a great lamb and beef flavor and was seasoned perfectly! His sandwich came with a white bean salad served chilled and a tabbouleh salad. Both were very nicely prepared, flavored, and portioned. We will definitely return to this spot for its quality food, proximity to downtown, friendly employees, and most importantly the awesome, authentic, Turkish food!

We enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant when we went. It was our first time trying Turkish delicacy, so we went in with unknown thoughts. The restaurant was clean and had ample seating with a few larger tables for bigger parties. There was outdoor seating. Although the menu did not have pictures of all the food, if you go online to their menu on their website, you can find pictures of most of their menu alongside the name of the item. Our waitress was nice and attentive but not intrusive. Everything was presented well and arrived quickly after ordering. We ordered the Cacik, Grilled Halloumi Cheese, Chicken & Vermicelli Soup, Iskender Kebab Platter, Adana Kebab Platter, Turkish Delight, and a glass of Apricot Juice. The Cacik is basically Tzatziki and outside of the pita you get with it, we found dipping the Grilled Halloumi Cheese in it was a great pairing. The cheese is very salty and so the Cacik served as a great balance in our opinion. The flavors on the Adana and Iskender Kebabs were seasoned well. The Turkish delights were a favored dish of the night and while we did not get the coffee with it, it is served with Turkish coffee. Note: Their Turkish delights have some form of nut in it if you are allergic you may want to ask the specific kind. The Apricot Juice was smooth but very potent. You’ll probably need some water alongside it if that’s not your preference. Would go back and recommend it to anyone in the area! Pics via @nokesidefoodie

The main complaint is that the food is genuinely flavorless. The food appears Turkish but is missing key things like cooking method, spices, ingredients, etc. Everything tastes like it came out of can, was boiled or warmed and then served. I'm not an expert in Turkish food but at least I've been to Turkey for a few weeks, been to UK Turkish restaurants and been to other Turkish restaurants in the US. I've also made Turkish food at home based on these experiences. So I've probably been to 25 or 30 Turkish restaurants over the past 5 years. They are not all the same and some are better than others. This restaurant, however, is at the very bottom of the list. And it's a big step between it and the next worst Turkish I've ever had - in my life. There are Turkish people running this restaurant and I'm absolutely positive that they know that they not making quality Turkish food. They are just making dishes that look Turkish but are assembled in the cheapest way possible, with cheap ingredients while avoiding all the steps that they know go into good Turkish food. For the prices being charged, there is no excuse. For reference, we had Ali Nazik and Iskandar dinner entrees.

The positives can include one very nice waitress, lovely music, and relaxed atmosphere. The hot pomagranate tea was very good. The negatives however... include two out of the three 'seen' employees barely acknowledged our presence. One of them proceeded to ignore us and sit down to chat with some friends of his that came into the restaurant. One other was nice enough to get our drinks only to follow up by plugging in his phone at the table behind us and playing on it while customers were around! Im all for relaxed environments, but thats taking it too far. The one person that seemed to want to appear as if she worked for a living took good care of us despite. If you are looking for true authentic turkish fair, this is not it. Its cheap knock off imitation. The sausages are from the breakfast freezer section at your local grocery store, as is the mini shrimp and tomato dish they claim is worth $12. Cheese is used as a filler to make dishes appear bigger than they are. They were nice enough to remake my meal without cheese (as i am allergic to it) and did not charge me for the half sized portion ....however, in the process did not bring me my rice and side salad that came with my meal. I had high hopes for the hummus and pita bread....both failed miserably. The hummus was terrible and there was no true pita bread, just cheap, cold, dry white bread similar to the $1.99 options in a kroegers bakery section. I hate to give negative reviews but i am by no means a food snob. I also dont blame restaurants for my allergy issues. We tried a different restaurant, it didnt work...

This was my first time at this restaurant. I wasn't too certain if I was going to like the food because I thought it was going to be spicy. I made reservations for lunch at 1 for a Friday with two other friends. We arrived on time and we were seated at a lovely table by the window. We sat down, and were given the menus to look at. No sooner had that step taken place when another wait staff came over to our table and told us we were not able to sit at this table because it was for someone else. Really? There was no reserved sign on the table etc..... I didn't want to make a scene because of the two friends I was with. That is where WE were seated by the hostess! We were seated at a table NOT by a window. About 45 minutes after we arrived two folks were seated at "our" original table. I have no idea what that was all about. The food was delicious. Not spicy, just wonderful. I thought the staff did do their jobs. After we were finished, an order was placed to go so my friend could take it home. When the order arrived, it arrived on a plate to be served at the table. She had clearly stated that the order was to GO, we waited while she got it right. She came back with the order bagged. Little things here, but when I looked at this restaurant on line, it did not live up to those standards at all. Everything was different with the REAL experience. No one on the staff "on line" wore short, short cut-off jeans. (not very appropriate for a restaurant. I am going to suggest a...
